Stick with it until up to the 3rd EP. But honestly, the way the way they adapted this series is much too far from the original. The tone in the book is somewhat serious and not a slapstick comedy.

YYY-ish, same observation. Yes, actual plot movement happened in the second or 3/4 of the episode. They did got the groove back at by the last part, however, it is only to thirst us for EP3. I hope they won't do this on the next episode, or I might just stick with the book. :)

Plus factor, it seems that James is trying to fight his budding feelings towards his younger actor. I dunno if that really happened irl, but for this scene, it satisfy the morally upright ego of mine. But I hope Bas's story will be explored too, and will not be only a plot device to unravel Ait's story.
