wait i think they just bungee jumped since that's something Dew wanted on his previous life, not suicide....??…
I don't know the height of the water from where they had jumped, but typically, jumping from great heights into the water can have a result which as if you had jumped into a concrete because of the water's surface tension.
If you look clearly during the water scene, it shows dew and pop swimming towards the surface. I don't know if the director wants to depict that the two died and has been reincarnated and what is being shown is the future. Also, it reinforces the theme of reincarnation and according to a friend, including 'water' in it further established that as 'water' according to her is a big part of Thai religion.
As for indication of if what they did is suicide or not, the mere act of removing the rope, which is your lifeline can be considered that their intention was that. Also, as the camera pans out, you can here screams, of a man or woman, again adding to reality of what they did. Plus, there was the scene were Phob and Lew were conversing about how their love was impossible due to age, etc., before they bungee jump.
Addendum: I answered this from what I had remembered after watching the film. I was not yet ready to rewatch, so there might be errors in the sequence of scenes. :)
There is nowhere in my post that I said Mork did not like Pi at his present looks. I too won't be surprised to know that Mork likes Pi with or without the changes he will undertook.
Fairytale-like story lines is pertaining to the transformation... the core plot of fairytales. You need to transform to find true love. To fervently believe on that thinking is being more naive than believing that there are people who can fall for you just by being who you are. :)
Yes I agree this plot line is very common. That is why the OP has said that he that it would be nice if Mork will 'verbalize' to Pi that he already loved him even before the transformation. You see, saying it to someone you love, regardless if that person changes himself or not, reinforces that he/she has self worth. (again reinforcing that there are people who will fall for you just by being who you are).
Yes people care about looks. But then again, these are subjective. What may look enticing to you will not be for some other people.
Yes we all have different life experience, as indicated by the OP. It is just that his sentiments echoes mine that is why I replied. You have your life experiences so why would you want to switch realities with me?
Oh, and 'your only a kid'? Ugh, one point to add to the stat that kiddies don't like non-fairytale-like story lines. :)
Yes. As a result, they call out some series which contradicts what they think should be in a show and some goes to a practice what they had seen in a fairytale-like series. T_T
I can't believe this show's sitting in some obscure corner undiscovered by so many people. I'm gonna recommend…
I came to this drama through word of mouth and was genuinely surprised that it was so good. I don't want to shade other cdramas, but this one is truly an undiscovered gem.
One thing that I wish viewers understood when starting this drama: MGTV is not great with their dramas. If you've…
I really do wish it will receive more attention. The cuts and loss of audio is only on the YouTube platform, if watched in they app or web it don't have that problem. But, I agree with how cheap of them to cut many scenes and refused to change the ending when the makers really want it to make it an HE.
But still, with all that hulabaloos, the story, acting, ost and sound scoring of this drama is truly one of a kind. It's way up there with known and famous cdrama, in some areas, Killer and Healer is way ahead.
