Some of these comments are ridiculous. There are ZERO hints of romance between YTY and PJG. From PJG's point of…
Actually, people are seeing it that way since it's being implied in the drama. The atmosphere created between the two, their dialogue, and so on. Hopefully we are misleading ourselves
I kinda agree. But then again I don't have a good record with drama characters being complex, so I'm not surprised.…
His emotions do go up and down around his mother, but the intensity with which he feels is how a normal person would. Maybe that's how I feel. But I agree that Joo Won is doing a convincing job so far
Agreed! This drama, if it is dealing with the concept of parrallel worlds, is not showing the butterfly effect,…
me! :p i am ignoring the formulas too. The consistency with the rules is good to see. I am hoping the second half proves me wrong for feeling so-so about the drama and I finally get to see why Joo Won rejected 50 other scripts for this.
Aside from a rather confused plotline, the characters lack depth and impact. They're pretty much two dimensional. The drama is heavily relying on the production cost and the big names. I would have been easy on it had the characters showed... something. Is it another disaster like Item? Let's wait it out.

Yes! Choi Won Young's connected the effect to parallel universes, and while I see that is what they're dealing with - also as it was clarified in the previous episode - I would have liked if they showed us the worlds to emphasize on the effect and the sci-fi aspect; and explored the worlds along with the book of legacy (or whatever it's called). But they're dealing with another evil corporation (like any kdrama) and constructing a romance between a man and female look alike of his mother. I hope they get back on track.
in train they had such different lives in each universe so each decision made a huge difference, and though they…
Agreed! This drama, if it is dealing with the concept of parrallel worlds, is not showing the butterfly effect, though it did discuss it, and is conveniently using the time travelling aspect for... goodness knows what
I also want to commend Lee Joon Hyuk for his performance. He truly embodies Seo Dong Jae. He acts in a way that you can distinguish him from his previous roles.
I love this season more than the first. We are directly dealing with the politics between the prosecution and the police. There are no common tropes in sight. The case of Dong Jae only gets more exciting. Shi Mok is on fucking fire - I LOVE how he operates. He has a way of putting corrupt people in the spot without compromising his own position. Ugh. I am in love.
There is the rest of the characters of Secret Forest, and then there's Lee Yeon Jae - I find her too dramatic in comparison. I get that she was intended to be this way, but sometimes I feel her acting needs a slight toning down. I enjoy a few of her scenes but mostly I am thrown off.
The show has picked up pace in episode 4. Till episode 3, it was mostly bland. I believe by 5 we will be exploring the concept of time travel tied with the legacy. Maybe even a parallel universe.
