I know there are a few known methods of transliteration from korean and none of them is perfect. It's just a hard thing to do. I've read somewhere that Koreans work on the new one - finally from a korean point of view. Or maybe they've made it already.
Maybe a surname "I" (oh right - from an english native pervspective it would be "E") would be to hard to accept;)
Still I'm very grateful that english subtitles are available that fast :)

As Han Seo Jun team I can say the 14th ep ending was the best ;)

I only can't stand that in the subtitles they write Lim instead of Im. Why putting non-existing letters? It's not like Koreans pronounce L there...

Title 18 Again
wouldve given it 8.5 or 9 if it wasnt for the kissing scenes but overall 8 is a good point for a good drama
Really? I don't think they were particularly bad.

So bad, so long and awfully boring. I was agonizing for a few days while trying to watch the whole movie but couldn't. After a little less then 2h I dropped it. I absolutely cannot understand those "brilliant, great, best, masterpiece!" comments here.

I loved the manga (and the anime) :D
As for the movie... I wonder who thought that making it into a musical is a good idea. Also the manga gives so much material that I don't think there's a need to hugely change the plot like they've made here. I wouldn't recommend it.

Title Encounter
I started it because of Pak Bo Gum and I've finished it only because of himXD The drama had kinda weak plot - like nothing really happend there. The primary point is relation between the main couple and only their POV's. Almost none side stories from the world they live in.

It was also strange to watch everyone calmly listen whatever someone is saying to them (even if it's bad or they already know that they disagree) and then after consideration they understand. So unnatural... Also when female lead for few episodes had to cry a river "because they come from different worlds".

It's also my bestfriend favourite band. So I know a little bit ;) I've recommended this drama to her (she doesn't watch asian dramas at all) and I wonder what will she say. I told her"it's great, an emotional steamroller and they used Queen's songs" :D

I am so impressed with this drama, but yes, that fujoshi confession scene was ridiculous and I felt that it detracted…
Japanese very often emphasize that every person has his own circumstances and we always have to think about them and respect them. I see it that way, not as "a detraction from the Jun's struggle". Everyone struggles.

My only weird complaint here is, after watching ep 7. I don't know I just wished the whole confession of being…
That showed a very japanese way of making dramas. Very often there's an unrealistic scene that is over-directed and is supposed to be the climax of the series.
However I can defend it - a little bit ;) I think it's a good thing that Sae got some time for her own. Like a drama does not need to focus only on one character. For a huge part she was only a tool in the Jun's orbit (yeah I know that he wasn't "the bad guy" and didn't want to hurt her, but he did). Her speech was also for showing it's more a community thing, Jun was staying in his bubble - thinking everyone hates him and won't ever accept him + if he does not have a wife and a kid he's bound to be all alone and die alone - of course some ppl does not accept homosexuality and we know Japan has many of them - and that was very harmful to him so as he was getting worse.
Being a fan of BL cause some pain for Sae too. Her speach was her breaking point on that and on the whole situation with Jun. What I don't understand was their kiss after that - if someone can explain that to me I will be grateful :D Ridiculous was the fighting with the teachers XD

Is this worth my time? :)
Definitely! In my opinion it's a real masterpiece. Very emotional and depicting true human emotions and their strugglings in a way that the viewer can understand them even if he doesn't agree with them or thinks they're groundless (or can't relate).

I will watch it again for sure and I am recommending this drama to my friends saying it's "an emotional steamroller" (as a non-native English speaker I'm not sure if this translation reflects the exact meaning , but I hope so :D).
I can't agree that some parts ware draggy or boring. (ok, maaaaaaaybe a tiny little bit in the last episode ;)) Many parts were very intense but it's impossible to make every minute in the drama that way :)

Ok :) I'm glad that I've protected you from this sh*t :D You have to be careful when it comes to chinese dramas. They tend to go in in a waay too absurd way (and an abusive one too as we know now).

Exactly.. Its scary how we girls are romanticizing wrong behaviour..
I don't!:D So as you and there're many of us :] I believe that those who praise such cases (and are neighter bots nor trolls;)) just didn't really think about that (maybe because of their young age). They might see it just as "a devotion" or "strength". While absolute devotion seems tempting as a proof that "she is the one ever", we a little older know perfectly that it never works. Controling, subjecting and obsession with one person aren't cute. It's a sickness that never ends well.

Yeah. Possessiveness, controling and psychopathy :]
I'm eager to see Aaron in a thriller where he'd play a handsome psycho ;))

Oh my, what a misunderstanding here. I didn't write that the best drama plot would be the one that discourage ppl from having a relationships - that's totally a nonsense. You wrote is yourself, that it's an absurd, so why didn't you think twice and just assumed I am... brainless?

What I wrote was that it LOOKS to me that producers/screenwriters or whoever is responsible for this drama, had that in mind. That THEY wanted to discourage young people THROUGH this series. I hope I made it clear now.

Showing an abusive, disrespectful behaviour as a "fluffy romance and big forever love" surely isn't a right thing to do.

Lol, I thought that Yuan Qian should really think about her relationship if she's that scared that he might instantly beat another girl (whom he knows) thinking she pushed her into the mud (he wasn't there). Maybe he has a problem with anger management?

Awful, just awful. At first I thought that this drama was created to dishearten young people from being involved in a romantic relationships. That would surely worked. But when I read the comments praising the story and main couple's relation... I'm starting to doubt. If that's the case the drama is just harmful.

It might sound strange that I've watched the whole thing when I hated it so much. Even I have almost forgotten thatthe first half of the show wasn't that bad. The story was kinda shallow - yes, and there's no really side stories, but it was light and funny. Qin Shen is really good looking, as for Yuan Qian I can't determine 'cause sometimes she's pretty and cute but sometimes... no ;D The drama was a treat from a stressing day.
However the true colors of this show were shown later. And it was worse with every episode to the very end. The last one was the worst.
The amount of disrespect and possessiveness only rose. And I remember that Qin Shen was saying that he supports her decision about changing the faculty and it shouldn't be influenced by their relation but I feel that it was only superficial. As a matter of fact this drama is packed with treating women like objects. Grabbing, holding down, moving as he wished, pulling hair (second male lead), saying with whom she can or can't meet, for how long and she can't have an eye contact for more than 5 seconds, scheming with other man to do smth she clearly said she doesn't want to... phrase like "manage your girlfriend" and constantly making jibes about her weight. And that may be not all.

Most of their skinship was shown/made in a way that creeped me out. I was like "ewwwww, disgusting".
I only hope that no human being will think that a relationship should look like that.
