So that warrants a war on a sovereign country? America has racists... the UK has racists... Japan has racists...…
If I hear a woman accusing a man of being a sexist I'll ask - what did he do? And if I agree with her I'll spread that this kind of behaviour is unaccaptable. I'll try to explain WHY it is so if someone would still be unconvinced.
I won't wrote "he has to die" untill I'll know what it is all about. I won't make an assumption from one word and spread an outcry. However I won't tell her she doesn't know what she's talking about either.
These are shitty times right now that every allegation has to be checked. Due to propaganda, trolls etc.

"You have rejected the accounts and videos of Africans and Ukrainians who aren't Ukrainian by ethnicity because you value your opinion more than their own honest experience which isn't fair for them."
- I didn't reject them. I believe there might be incidents of hindering. And I hope you didn't understand I called "demanding" those who are there right now and are wishing for equal treating? O_o That's NOT what I meant. Histerical news from far away to prove "West is racist" (more than it is) with unfair, non-journalistic tactics as well as for anonymous ppl from safe places that share such news as if some atrocity or genocide of Blacks is taking place there, are overreacting.
I can imagine I'm in China. The war broke. I mix with the chinese refugees to run away. I stand out bc I'm not chinese and a Chinese says to me that chinese women with children goes first and I should leave the train. I wouldn't call that racism. I would have felt very unfairly treated I would seek for help from my country's embassy or any other authoritis to point "hey not only chinese ppl are trying to run away here". Because at the end of the day it's the country of origin that will/should/have to take care about their citizens. And they will put them first. No race involved or skin colour.

I repeat to resolve all doubts: I'm not denying such indicents have happened. I feel sorry they did.
I'm glad people got help and the leaders got involved to solve that matter. I hope no one would be harassed.
I wish netizens from safe places far away won't go berserk as if genocide of Blacks takes place on the borders.

So that warrants a war on a sovereign country? America has racists... the UK has racists... Japan has racists...…
That's the difference between us. I would NEVER say to you that you"have no right to have your on opinion" on anything. I might want to point there's another side of the story or that I find smth more important, though. That's how discussions go. You'll never change anything you believe in just by screaming "racists, racists!!" in their faces. Just mind that.

I'm not a racist, I know that. And I won't fear to say someone's in the wrong bc he/she happens to be other race than mine.

"when they are facing worse things in Ukraine because they are Black"
- that suggests EVERY black person's facing worse which is not true. You even say theres's thousands of such cases. No proof to that. And still it's the Ukrainian who face THE WORST. It's THEIR homeland that got attacked and THEY are KILLED. Shifting the agenda to black problems is not fair right now. It's not like the region got more racist in the last 2 weeks.

"You are also discriminating against a Black woman because she speaks Russian. Did she say she supports the war?"
- I PERSONALLY wrote she doesn't support the war. I said it's a given that ppl here will be now suspisious to everyone who speaks russian. A russian spy got detained recently, heard about that? It's totally understandable to slighlty on an alert BUT ppl has to use brain also no to harass any russian speaker. It's so obvious, why am I even saying that...

I feel it's useless to talk to you because you don't even read what I'm writing here and ALL THE TIME twisting my words to point I'am a racist. Only fired up on "racism everywhere". Maybe you're too immature to lead that kind of conversation, maybe you're faced with harassement - as you say - and now you see it everywhere. It's not the most horrible and wide spread thing that is happening there right now. I think we should listen to Ukrainian.

Like 83 years old ukrainian Holocaust survivor, who said to Putin:
"I wish for you to die. Leave us alone".
- that should be on the news headlines all over the world now.

Again, from where the hell did you get that? Clearly English is not my first language (still calling someone "black" or "white" is not really nice to me, "dark-skinned" sounds better, but since you use it this way, I comprehend). I tried to UNDERSTAND that maybe the journalist didn't want to offend Syria in - I assume - a live footage. I know "un/civilised" word as an rather demeaning one (we have a similar one in my language) that's why I was looking if a dictionary will help. An it kinda did. If I can say "uncivilised" about a country with unsettled region which doesn't have a stable government with "typical of a comfortable and pleasant way of life".
I've made an effort on to assume from one word that the journalist is a douchebag who thinks that Syrians are some kind of wild men. I hope he will choose another word in the future to avoid that misunderstanding.

Of cours you're wrong. I repeatedly wrote no one should face unfair treatment. REPEATEDLY. Yet you still want to prove I am a bad racist.

I've never linked "he stabbed because he's black". I showed an attacker who happens to be black and bc of that fact some ppl will be suspicious. Like in every country when a foreigner breaks the law, citizens might think "oh from this (country) ppl might do that", for example steal. And IF the human happens to be other race it doesn't mean they are racist. At least to that you can agree, right?

You don't have to be sorry. I was slightly annoyed that you're saying as if every African was harassed on polish/ukrainian border bc of their skin colour, which is very much not true.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/SqAnHcQz5CU?wmode=opaque&fs=1&rel=0&autohide=1
You also can check out CBS News they're asking their correspondent, who is in Poland, who went to ask african refugees from Ukraine if they were mistreated. They pointed that there are so many ppl so it can't be helped it was chaotic at first. Also problems with visas and the paperwork linked to that. But the organization has improved.

"Ukrainian ministers condemning the discrimination" - that’s EXACTLY what I meant saying "there's no systematic racism". "Systematic" is a government lead. [As how Putin persecutes LGBT and how Kadyrov tortures and kills them in Chechnya (with Putin's approval).] They oppose that too. I've read Ukraine opened hot line for non-ukraine ppl to get help and information.

Also I'm thinking there might be a problem in the system. When, for example polish gov, simplify the procedure on the borders for Ukrainians it does apply for everybody born in this country. It does not apply to "everyone who comes from that direction". It's not easy - and it shouldn't be - to cross the borders if you're not from EU. Not bc "someone doesn't deserve help" but bc of security matters.

I've watched the link from Wion News you've send very closely. I can't help to view this as an overreacting and slightly histerical. Based on residual facts of mistreatment - yes - but WionNews makes big news about "racism in the West". Which I know pleases Putin.

WionNews slams CBS, NBC, BBC and even al-Jazeera for being racist. Especially the later one I find ridiculous.
A statement cut out from BBC to show "how racist Western news are" is from Deputy Chief Prosecutor in Ukraine saying "it's very emotional for me bc I see European ppl with blue eyes and blonde hair being killed [cut]" Only one sentence and english is not his first language. I would say unfortunate choose of words. And we don't know his whole statement.

On CBS journalist says „unlike Syria or Afganistan it’s relatively civilized (rolling his eyes) relatively european (rolling again) a city where you wouldn’t expect that or hope it’s going to happen.[cut]” And eighter the video was lagging bc it was going live or it was cut in few moments. It sounds too harsh so I especially checked in Oxford dictionary that „civilized” also means „typical of a comfortable and pleasant way of life” and „well organized socially”. Surely no one would call Syria „well organized”, would he? And since the guy is rolling his eyes while saying this we can assume he’s not seriously talking about it as „a very developed culture and way of life with laws and customs that are fair and morally acceptable” meaning.
Edit: I found another citing on al-Jazeera site:
„CBS News senior correspondent in Kyiv Charlie D’Agata said on Friday: “This isn’t a place, with all due respect, like Iraq or Afghanistan that has seen conflict raging for decades. This is a relatively civilised, relatively European – I have to choose those words carefully, too –city where you wouldn’t expect that, or hope that it’s going to happen.””
https://twitter.com/Elevatedquid/status/1497561672948629509 – if you’d like to see the footage.
See? They cut out „with all due respect” and „I have to choose those words carefully”. It’s harsh but it’s true. We get used to „war in Syria” that it’s „unsettled region”. Of course it’s not fair, of course the civilians are suffering the most. They deserve peaceful country to live in, their homeland.

The guy on al-Jazeera is wondering about some groups of ppl aren’t refugees bc don’t look like them in his opinion. He’s not regarding country of their origin or their ethnicity. And we even don’t know where and when the footage was taken. We can see only their backs and heads covered with hoods. How that can be regard as „racist”?

Wion News repeatedly reminds on their news ticker 2015 and how European countries didn’t want to take male migrants from Africa. The linkswoman says blatantly that european countries (as if all of them) closed their borders for refugees from Syria and Afghanistan – which is not true. Not all of them even claimed that they won’t take anyone. Minority did though.
They write emotional sentence quoting "stick for Arabs, carrot for Ukrainians" on the news ticker. I find it rather insulting to Arabs…
At the end the woman ispeaks about some strange thing like „european supremacy”. We have EU to feel safer and to think about neighbour countries as european-similar to us like „we are all Europeans so we have to stick together”. I don’t think there’s something wrong with that. I think that ppl from one African country would feel more empathy and unity for ppl from another African country than to Swidish for example. That’s how it works and I woun’t call Africans „racists” for that.

Finally WionNews is an Indian tv. India lately abstained 3 times in a voting to condemn Russia and demand to stop the war immediately. They make business with Russia, with West too, so they are in a tight spot. I want to believe they want to stop the war but can’t afford to break ties with Putin. They „abstain” not „oppose”, they say gently that dialogue is the best way to solve conflicts and „we must return to the path of diplomacy” but make material that tells for whole 6 minutes how racist and mendacious West is. Which is totally compatibile with what Putin said recently.
And it’s awfully shifting focus from „Russia attacked Ukraine” to „Europe/West is racist towards non-Ukrainian refugees”. Which also goes Putin’s way.

Incidents of pushing from the line on the border or pulling out women from the trains should be condemned by government’s representatives and corrected at once. The Embassies should help too.
I wish that Black ppl no to be over-demanding in the hard times and label everything as „racist”. I read on Independent or BBC that a woman was pointing bad treatment on Ukrainian side of the border and she claimed it’s bc she is black. But then she says she speaks russian( but clearly doesn’t support the war). Oh my, that’s very strange they will be hostile to you if you speak the occupant’s language… If you’re screaming or act aggressively it also won’t help.

I suggest, if you’d like to continues our discussion, to switch to the private messages in order to not post such long comments here :D

I didn't want to write all the time "non-ukrainian" so since the matter we're discussing relate to ethnicity I chose this one.
Also where the h** I wrote that Blacks don't deserve a shelter??? I only pointed that some incidents occur and bc of them regular ppl can get a prejudice - leading to unfair treatment on the border. Which - as for refusing pregnant woman with children - should be condemned and corrected.
It's a hard task actually for them but reporters shouldn't hide "a man with a knife" or "pregnat woman with children" news while both of these information can lead to a histerical response from some people. And I don't like being histerical :)

I didn't want to post a huge comment so I've tried to keep everything short.
About the thing tha they might be from Bielarus - I was just assuming and wondering bc lately there were no news about them. The last one when the winter's started was Lukashenka built some sleeping facility for them so they won't froze and arranged kebab-stall and similar so they can BUY food. Oh and a currency exchange to gain money from they... I really wonder what has happened to them bc I don't expect any good from Lukashenka.

Of course any violent treatment can't be justify by that.

What is happening at the Polish border is NOT systematic racism. Please check https://twitter.com/tahirqadiry/status/1498929168351965186 where ambassador of Afganistan in Poland thanks Poland for taking Afgan refugees from Ukraine. And as a bonus you'll have a video of "darkskinned refugee" attacking shop owner (or worker) with a big knife near the border. I know that bad ppl are everywhere and it's not about their skin colour. I'm not saying that's how refugees act eighter.
Still never heard about refugee-woman who attacked anybody with a knife in a country where she's looking for a shelter.

Also I saw some footages from ukrainian railway station where everyone wants to get in the train which will take them away. And majority are women with children, yet "non-ukraine students" almost all men are... let's say not helping. I know everyone is panicking but isn't common knowledge that women with children go first?

The most important question is how many of non-ukraine refugees are from Bielarus. Remember when 6 months ago Putin with Lukashenka lied to people from Middle East (and African too) that they can "go few km through the woods and will be in Germany" and brought few tens of thousands of them on polish-bielarusian border? Around few thousand might have remained in Bielarus. Of course Lukashenka wants to get rid of them and could have told them: go through Ukraine now.

Also I'm wondering what media are you watching to say they show "I'm seeing people with blond hair and blue eyes being bombed"? O_o

Sadly it's disappointing. I had hopes that Japanese will tell a "fake marriage stor"y from a new point or add something interesting to it. Or maybe it will be a background for another entertaing thread.
Unfortunately not.
At first it wasn't that bad though. But last 3 eps were awfully boring and dragging.
To sum it up I feel the drama was almost about nothing.

*still I'm extremely grateful to the person who translated it ^^ (since japanese dramas are rather rarely subbed and it's not so easy to find them)

Title Why R U?
How many times I've thought "this is SO BAD drama", "omg, it's horrible", while watching, but still I continued XD In the plot there's nothing much, few boring side stories (but only few), very strange melodrama at the end, often stiff and unnatural dialogues, sweetness that's beyond one's imagination - even for this kind of drama ... that would be the cons.
The pros for me: language ;D I love to listen to thai; m/m scens that are very pleasant to watch, whitout any tint of uncomfortableness or awkwardness from the actors. Also I'm very fond of how this drama (and it happens in other lakorns quite often) gives me the sense of normality in regard of same sex relationships. No one dwells on thinking if he's sick or what other people will say just because he might like/date another guy. Even unaccepting parent wasn't angry over the top and didn't call an exorcist or yell how sick he thinks it is. I saw in other BL lakorns that friends are taking this kind of news very normally too. I wish it would be reality...

I've forgotten a huge con. It's about Fighter's burst of violence. Totally unacceptable. Especially while every other their intimate scenes were delicate, soft and he asked many times (that it felt like too manyXD) if Tor is sure and really wants it. If it would be a real world Tor should really think about IF he ever wanted to break up with Fighter, wouldn't it mean that he gets raped.

The exaggerated acting didn't convince me. Also I feel the lack of... something that can really pin you to the screen. Like it's a drama about nothing - but still, we have the plot clearlyXD Maybe it's all because of the acting. It ruined everything - aside from the music. The music was great, and I loved the last song, when Mafuyu finally started to sing. However the drama doesn't encourage me to watch the anime or read the manga.

On Saimdang, Memoir of Colors Oct 31, 2021
Lee Gyeom my very favourite male protagonist ever :D But for the drama... I loved the historical part, although there were some plot holes and bad reasoning in few characters. Like why exactly the king mendled with their marriage arrangements? How a pair of artists might be a threat for the throne?
However I hated the present part - totally unnecessary. After 1ep I wanted to drop it, that's how Seo Ji Yoon irritating was... I get the patriarchal society, I get kissing up to your mentor's butt to get a promotion, I get respecting olders and in-laws, but being absolutely unable to say anything for herfself by full grown-up woman? UGHH...
Also I don't understand why did they choose Lee Young Ae for the role and the actor for Saimdang's husband? Saimdang was 36, and her husband around 40. Lee Young Ae looks just her age 45-46, and the actor playing her husband much over 50 maybe even closer to 60. Only Gyeom's look match his age (40-41) but that way he looks visibly younger than Saimdang while it was reversely.
