Hmm you didn't find "don't be scared, I'm here" (bu bie pa, wo lai le) in the middle of a fighting or a fire, cringy? All those physically impossible acrobations of Zisheng didn't come to my liking also - ok maybe not ALL of them, but when they went overboard yes ;)
I'm almost finishing the whole story, and it's pretty good, regardless what I've mentioned (also I don't see any special tension other than acting ;)), it's great that Zisheng has a secret! And we got to know more about him, not only as a cruel general who tends to rescue female lead :P

When I wrote "she didn't look like Naksu Jang Uk knew" (the second part is crucial here) I meant that he fell apparently with a complete strange girl. If she "looked like her" only a little it would be more understandable for him to waver. Which he did because of what she said and she said the things from his and Naksu's past.
Also I hope you won't misunderstand me. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with "moving on". It's just not a drama about healthy moving on :) Plus I feel sad for Jang Uk's character because even if he moved on quite quickly (after meeting a new one), then the one from the past came back and it's the same person he newly fell in love... It's a mess. Anybody would go crazy. And it's not the only mess in this drama. Another one is that when you shift your soul and make a baby, the baby is yours. Also for the female lead. You say that she is who she would be without being manipulated into being an assassin. But that person didn't exist. She should have had her own experiences to be just and only Cho Yeong. Naksu was Cho Yeong all the time but no one knew her true name and an assassin needs a nickname.

I have to say I really loved special effects here. Whole drama was decent, esp for the sequel (bc they tend to be super weak) although I've liked first half, maybe a little more, better. At the end loop holes piled up and some unreasonable situations had happened only to force emotions in viewers like for example when someone die tragically but it's so stupid that no one can relate... It was mentioned in the comments so I won't repeat it.
However, my biggest disappointment was (and I wonder if it's just me) that after finishing the drama I feel that Jang Uk didn't really care/love Naksu that much and it looked like he fell for another girl who no one actually knew. She didn't have anything in common with Naksu. She behaved more like a crazy person - which is quite understandable since it's Bu Yeon's body that contains two souls, but one is kinda hibernated and the other has no memories at all. She also didn't look like Naksu who Jang Uk knew. So his whole affection which was build in the first season, and which lasted 3 years after the grand finale has disapeared because the new girl sticked to him, promised to help him and kept him warm. So now he desperately started to love the new one, but then she happened to be also the old one... Since they are both in one body we don't have to ask how it is actually, right...?

Basically it's the happy ending. There was also no engagement from Otomo's side. After the ex-girlfriend apeared, Imagase moved out and they don't see each other for two months. Then they met accidentaly (Otomo's chasing him), end in bed together, and afterwards become a couple. In the last scene Otomo's thinking that being with a guy is much comfortable than with a woman but despite Imagase is a guy, he should court him too a little and he praised Imagase's new jacket. That made Imagase slighlty and cutely embarrassed and happy = the end :)
