On Otonari Complex Oct 28, 2025
It was sooo cute. I've binged-watched in one evening XD

At first it looked like Makoto's cross-dressing is forced and unclear but I'm glad it was explained. Ab Akira... I wished she wasn't that timid. OK, she wasn't the whole time but when she squirmed so often (being quite high and for no valid reason, being an adult) it made me cringe a bit.
Other than that, I loved the height difference, their story, it gives off a "Lovely Complex" vibe (as mentioned by others) though they weren't fighting with each other all the time. I wouldn't mind if it had been a little longer;]
If you're up to smth light, rom, friends-to-smth-more, go for it.

The height difference was so adorable. I loved that the ML still bought her heels and she continued to wear them…

the fact that he's trying to sue her for so much money is just sus
The facts:
- he posted his story online
- 1 year and 3 month later SHE sued HIM
- than he also sued her
Also, huge money get the people's and the news' attention. Life.

P.S. Both have every right to sue each other. Neither is "sus". What "sus" is, it's she at first denied her changing school at all. Then change it to being falsely accused of violence and agreeing to change it. OK, let's say she wanted to defend "her face" and wished the news just die naturally. Or even forgot she beat that guy _^_
Unfortunately we don't know many important factors, and won't get to know - sadly bc I'm quite curious XD

Im not surprised about many accusations for celebrities by now. I just felt disappointed that many of bullies…
I like your view but I find it extremely naive. Unthinkable that a person who abused someone in their schooldays, BEFORE starting a career on stage, will go look for them to say sorry. I've never heard of such situation... But it's a real shame u_u

"And since she was the girlfriend of a popular senior..." it sounds like envyAnd envy also when he saw…
Hmm, to me it doesn't sound like envy at all. More like he was afraid that if he starts to defend himself, retaliate in any way, that "popular senior" will come to him. You know, a minor won't get a chance against a senior with his friends. Understandable.

Indeed we all have to wait for the result of the trial. No need to talk trash about any of them.

Another thing I could believe is the school wouldn't want to admit they have "problematic student". Be it 21 years ago or now - it's better to boast they have a model-maybe-future-celebrity on board, than be that school where bullies go or went, imputing their teachers are lacking.

I do think if she was forced to transfer then there is some suspicion. Can the actress give the SCHOOL permission…
I just read here: https://news.sbs.co.kr/news/endPage.do?news_id=N1008245700 that according to an expert there weren't any systems or regulations which would have obliged schools to keep all documentation regarding disciplinary and forced transfers.
(5th paragraph from the bottom)

Thus absence of such documents cannot be treated as the proof.

I don't think being transparent and revealing the truth is ever bullying. Its very easy for the actress to prove…
Exactly what I had in mind. <3
Although I do like that Korean celebrities "pay attention to keep their image positive" (instead of posing/revealing they're gangsta kings of the streets, smoking weed and taking drugs) it's bad when it leads to overdoing it and others winking at their flaws "to not tarnish the perfection". The higher soar, the bigger downfall.
And if I imagine the same, it wouldn't be negligible now I'm an adult, I can do more, my word weighs more and (if I'm Korean migrant working in the US) I have much more money for lawyers in my homeland.

How about bc she became famous and is on the media? So after many years the victim started to see a flourishing career of their bully? Doing interviews, having influence on their fans, getting praises "how good, how pretty" the bully is. So the resentment resurfaces, as well feeling of unfairness and being the victim.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not deeming her guilty. I think we don't know if she's the bully nor if she's innocent.
However it seems it should be quite easy to check his accusations. Just think about how bad it should've been so they expelled her. (if it's true) Taking part in a group assault? :O And we know there's a big problem with abuse in Korean society.
Many questions and too soon to diss her as well as defending her with "whyyyy noooooow???oooh he's just after money". As it's not an evidence of anything.

Not very related, but doesn't your religion punish homosexuality with death? Or it's just in some countries where…
Srry then for not stalking you and looking for rude and offensive comments towards you๐Ÿ’€ Indeed there were. And as I've scrolled I saw you calling ppl "lack of common sense" and for them to "shut up" when they didn't agree with you. And a drama that haven't even aired "a trash, racist and stereotypical".
No, you don't have to tolerate when someone is rude to you. I'm really sick of, let's call it "bi-polar social media culture", when either there're hate comments or love comments.
So, you wanted to alleviate islamophobia with being aggressive and demanding others to do what you do? Despite you saying you don't care what I belive, you expect me abide to your rules. That exceeds "respect".

If you hate Korea so much why do you watch their dramas? You've just condemned the whole country... I thought of what Korea could take from beliefs closer to me or even from history (so facts). That would be cool! Even if shallow, as they don't make a documentary, I won't mind as long as they won't degrade my country or its poeple.
In fine (finally), in my opinion there's no reason to start this shitstorm, really offending one another, if someone wish to boycott this series, is very free to do so, they've their own free will. No nation, no religion deserves special treatment. Metaphorically: entering the room and screaming "I deserve the special treatment bc I'm me" is very moronic thing to do. Definitely won't make anyone want to have anything to do with you.

I've said what I wanted and now I'll be waiting for the drama to air :] Good night and chill.

Absolutely, I understand you don't want to debate on that topic. You were very aggressive in your first comment, saying you could be harsher - take my word, I could too ๐Ÿ˜€ But I decided not to be that douchebag and I always try not to offend. I believe everyone can have their own stands and feelings and we don't have to agree in everything. But we have to be civilised and try to explain our point of view through logic.
Anyway thank you for your answer, it's adequate - some christians and priests (calvinists I guess) say the same thing , as it's clearly stand God loves human he couldn't hate them for loving another person. Smth like that. Nothing to be ashamed of๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป
I even pointed out as a downside of a strong faith - it makes ppl suffer not only bc of harassment from other believers.
In many cases "the official religious line" explains not everything from the bible should be taken literally, that there are metaphors and "the time has changed" (so we know it's not ok to sell your daughter for some livestock๐Ÿ’€) so it's alleviating, but sadly, regarding same sex relationships, it develops too slow. Thus believers are starting to think for their own :)

Sadly the comment section here stopped being about the drama, but turned into a debate why everyone should follow what's in the quran. Which is absurd.
Fun fact that some nice ppl here who wanted to really explain calmly why they don't feel okay with hearing their satan's name in a rom-com drama (which isn't even ab religion) made me understand it. At some point ๐Ÿ˜‰ I agree it's rather strange, definitely unnecessary, it'd be better to omit doing so.
Since it seems Koreans exploit god/demons themes now we should prepare for Odin, Zeus, Hades and Buddha next๐Ÿ˜‚

I wouldn't think I'm "lowering anyone's motivation" - come on, a stranger asking a question shatters you motivation? When she's aware of her faith and feels very comfortable with it (your words)?
And of course I agree her religion is her thing and I don't approach anyone in order to make them atheists.
The problem is she came here dissing in harsh words ppl who don't share her religion and its customs. Requiring the whole world won't do smth bc it's forbidden for her, demanding special treatment for muslims.
In many parts of the world it's natural to point lack of logic, mock it or show smth in a comedic way. And yeah it's a matter of taste when the border is crossed, when the only purpose of a "joke" was to degrade a person or a nation - that's unacceptable.

I'm aware there has to be proof of the act. And I guess you've meant "between an UNMARRIED (to each otherXD) man and woman". No doubt here :)
