I'm going to be disloyal to Mamoru for a minute and say that I prefer the drawing style that he switched to in order to "fit in" as a mangaka. When I read manga with that drawing style, I enjoy the ikemen, I also like moe too. Hopefully next week Mamoru will go back to his bara men with boobs, if that is what he really likes. I feel like Mamoru and Issei's auntie, and just want them to be happy.
I understand that some viewers may not like that the Tsubasa arc took a whole episode, but I think it was to show that by Issei and Mamoru encouraging each other, they can positively affect people around them, and make them feel safe too.
Am I thinking too much or are Thai people or maybe Asian people (no discrimination here) really really fragile?…
BL started as an offshoot from the Shoujo manga community, and these tropes were/are common in shoujo. I'm not into shoujo at all but read one manga where the boyfriend took the girlfriend shopping and spoild her the day after to make up for the the "hecticness" of the night before. The fever wipe down in done in many cultures. Also, you'll hear some mom's say, "don't catch a cold" as well. Everyone knows that colds are from a virus, but still.

I'm hoping that that Name continues to try, like he does when he is with Em. What I love about even child Em is, he accepts and even tries to accommodate Name, but doesn't treat him like a child. Em is not co-dependent, he still went away for school, but is still there for his friend. I just hope that Name's mother wakes up before she causes too much damage.

I think most people are open to hearing another point of view if it explains why Name acts the way he does. His own mother is frustrated, so I would expect some viewers to be frustrated as well. I also know people who have one car accident (usually a major accident) who never drive again, even 20-30 years later. The mind has a very strong hold over our behaviors.
Okay, the swap meet wigs continue, but now I'm really curious about what Chompoo's secret is. I feel really bad of Name. You can see that he really wants to be a part of Em's life. He's trying, but his mom doesn't realize it.

The 1993 movie, The Piano, had a lead character who had this, and even she couldn't figure out why. It would be nice if it were as simple as just talking.
I like the unusual plot because many Asians are deathly afraid of ghosts, so to have the story's protagonist to be into the paranormal is nice. The "scary" song reminds me of the very end of "I Want You" by the Beatles.
Very well done. I did feel uncomfortable with the pseudo couple/ghost ship teacher Sani and Wat, but in my country, there is no situation where a romantic relationship would be acceptable as a high school student and teacher. I thought that First and Khaotung have great chemistry and hope they have another series.
Where this has gone astray is, that the two #8's have never met up. A hetero drama would have he same plot. If they live close enough to ride the same baht bus (I forget the Thai word for them), then they would have met as kids. The way they made Name a part of the group, they would have made room for Golf.
I am curious as to why Guns' father acts the way he does. Gun's mother doesn't even try to explain it either. I'm not sure we will every find out since the gang is moving to Bangkok. I think Mean should have just worn his normal hair, instead of that hideous wig. It seems like Thai production companies go to the swap meet to purchase wigs. Even Ja had a horrible wig in UWMA.
Totally off topic, but if they make Ghost Boy a live action, I would love to see Kim Ji Woong and Yoon Seo Bin as the leads. The sort of resemble the webtoon. This better not end like the last one either.
Santa is leading man material. I watched an interview and he says that Cake is a lot like him, and that his friends…
I know this sounds so stereotypical, but I could also see Earth in a role like Khun in Kinn Porsche, or a drag mom in a comedy-drama, like a real life of kids who get into drag, who gives humor, love and blunt truth. I have watched a lot of Earth's vlogs and he is pretty funny and sassy in real life. I would love to see some sass on the screen. I agree with you, it's time to give him more.
I'm the twisted sister and I like this. They saved it by adding Tarn and Lom because they know it's too much to ask the audience to bond the original moons, actors 12-18.

See-Eiw is self absorbed, partly because he is the youngest, and he's the only idiot who doesn't realize how Cake feels about him. I'm not a gay man, but judging by how Eiw reacted when he found out that he had romantic feelings for Cake, his fear is driving him. With Cake out of the picture, he made new friends, came out of his shell, and because less dependent on Cake. Eiw just hasn't been able to allow himself to believe that Cake loves him romantically. Even his friends are rolling their eyes because he is so clueless.
I think that directors and production need to cast Earth in something other than these angsty shows. I would love to see him in a comedy. I know this sounds silly, but Earth is hilarious in real life, and I think that he can pull off throwing shade, and wiping down one wall, then the other with an a$$hold talking s#!t. Earth is cute, while Santa is more conventionally handsome, with a masculine face. Maybe Earth should play a punk in a street gang, or a guy wrongly accused of murder. Anyway, I would like to see a change.
It's the negative part of BL fandom that wants straight actors so they can fantasize about them. Maybe some viewers are homophobic and it makes them uncomfortable to see a more fem man in a lead role. It's odd because as much as they hate fem men, they stan trans characters. I have no hate for trans characters, just pointing out that they may be more comfortable with a heteronormative situation, such as a male and transwoman.
I posted Twitter links to Earth's Twitter posts. I don't speak Thai, so I don't know what the screenshots say.
From what I understand, people were saying that Earth acts too gay. Earth had to stand up for himself on Twitter. There was a link on this board a few weeks ago. I didn't come to this board often because the viewers here were saying the same things.
OK, I'm going to say it. The acting in this is unbalanced. Santa is incredibly talented. What I like about Santa…
Santa is leading man material. I watched an interview and he says that Cake is a lot like him, and that his friends even teased him about playing himself. I think that Santa's acting shows a vulnerability that is rare in younger actors, like when he told his friend that he is not okay. I like Earth, and he has to put up with a lot more BS than Santa does. Even in this series, people were talking crap about his mannerisms, and even taking it to social media. I just wish them would leave him alone, or admit that they are homophobic, and work on it.
