On Because This Is My First Life Nov 5, 2017
That scene, when Se Hee sits to eat breakfast with her thinking that she'll now serve him the rice, it broke my heart :(
I mean he might had - by mistake - uplifted her expectations the day before, but the way she ignored him was way too harsh.
The expressionless guy even smiled and sat down in a joy, I mean...T-T

- Omg! that last scene of EP 8 got me hold my breath in fear and then tearing up suddenly,
only God knows how many times I'll keep repeating it!!

- I'm always ready to sign 1000000 of contracts with (my landlord) if he's someone like Se Hee!
I've got something for guys with weird personalities like his and I've go something for white cats too, to me, this combo is irresistible! Lol.

- And yeah, I'm so in love with Bo Mi, this girl lives on her own pace and I gotta look up to her when it comes to dealing with people, haha, she's amazing on her own way!
Comedy is definitely one of the genres of this show!
It was so light and funny, totally enjoyed the 1st Ep..
Kanesaka Mio's weird personality plus Senkawa Kanji's playfulness, a very good combination!
I think this drama literally allowed the two main leads try some new personalities and which they proved being brilliant at!
Especially for Dean, this is my first time to see him acting more freely? more himself and more genuine maybe.

If I'll do it then it's gonna be my first project so I'll have to look into the whole process how it works.

Title Witch's Court Spoiler
defending a character's shitty actions by saying it's what ppl in real life also do doesn't make any sense. ofc…
Oh sorry if the "Chill buddy" made you feel bad somehow, you sounded a little bit worked up to me earlier, so that's why.. anyway, my bad Lol
Was I serious? I see, maybe because I wrote it right after I was tutoring my nephews :D

Okay, I think this's an endless topic, there's no solid right or wrong answer to it & everyone has his/her own perceptions of things.

But let me tell you this, what I see around is a real"fuzz" over something doesn't deserve all that in my opinion, some are hating her as a whole person, not only for those certain actions she has done.
People generally disliking her and not really digesting the fact that she's the female lead of the story, so my criticism is around that, more than only voicing their disapproval, it seemed to me as an overreaction, considering also the fact that everything is still in its very beginning.
And yeah, also.. I'll add these, people are going on and on about that, first of all, they are totally forgetting the real villain of the drama (the one who -
assuming - harmed her mother) and then wildly ignoring the moral of the story which I personally believe is all about raising the awareness of the sexual assaults crimes.
I'm also sensing the unfairness of people when they go so harsh on female leads more than the male ones (generally), I can assume that if it was Jin Wook then half of those people who are criticizing Ma Yi's character will vanish in the air.
Also allow me to tell you that many of those who are spreading this hate are doing it merely because they don't like the actress herself, so all in all, that what made me write in the first place!
(And these are my own personal thoughts and you however, may not see them in this way & I totally understand).

Again, to me she still has some powerful points which can make up her bad ones. And when I'm saying that she 'might' have some 'changes' in the coming episodes, it doesn't disregard the fact that I'm liking her now, the way she is right now! If her character gets developed to a better version of her, then yes I'm cheering up for it, if not, then it would still be okay to me.
Mentioning this over & over for those who are hating her, is basically something they can hope for (wish for), and it's satisfying to everyone at the end. This so far doesn't have to make me go against her, since I'm fancying her either ways.

Thinking of it now... If the level of "polishedness" people are expecting of her really isn't that high, then the level of her 'evilness' isn't that much too to bash her this hard and this early.
Yes, I said things like (drastic, brutal, overboard..) but I can still tolerate it all. (Excuse my bad example but it's not like she went on murdering someone just to win the case), I hope that I'm making sense.

At the end, as you said: everyone has the right to voice their opinions, so I believe that these were mine and which I really wanted to put her, some might agree and others might not & I'm welcoming both. After all, nobody should feel obliged to say yes to (I was simply trying to make people accept her as a character in a drama, that's all).

Anyways, thanks again!

defending a character's shitty actions by saying it's what ppl in real life also do doesn't make any sense. ofc…
Chill buddy ;)
I didn't defend her actions or sided her, indeed, I described her ways as drastic, didn't I? .. also, I wasn't trying to make anyone love her by any mean.
Stating that this type of people do exist in real-life wasn't for the sake of justifying her actions - I was only trying to convey that this's not exaggerated or unreal to the extent that everyone should make a fuzz about it.

Yes I talked about how they exist in reality and I know that normal people with normal ethics and morals would obviously dislike it, and yeah.. fyi, I do too! but as I said earlier, mentioning that wasn't to beautify her image or to make excuses for her brutal behaviors.
Again, I was simply trying to make people accept her as a character in a drama, that's all.

Well.. I mentioned the word (Perfection) and I meant it overall, not about any specific action/incident (e.g: the gay guy's incident), but in general, as from what I see in the comments here and there, it looks like as if everyone is so expecting her to be super polished & flawless, but no people, there are some humans who do make mistakes, some stay in normal boundaries, but some might go overboard - as it's the case with our girl!

Only at the very end of my comment, I said that she will stay good in my eyes no matter what, and that's purely a personal preference (nobody is obliged to follow my sense), I dislike her actions when she's obviously hurting someone but I also fancy her strong personality to death, not to forget that there are still 12 Episodes left to reveal some other good sides of her, as well as some good developments.

(I don't think she was shown to be right, she got scolded so badly for it! and you don't even know whether something later would happen & fire-back on her because of it.. she might regret it at the end, who knows?) .. so YES, let's wait till the end.

Thank you for your comment.

Exactly, god, do people really think everyone is so decent and perfect and kind and stuff? Like do these people…
So true!
On Witch's Court Oct 17, 2017
Oh people, loosen up! Ma Yi can be a real person in this very real life, do you think real-life people are perfections?
Ah okay, just because she's a prosecutor & the female lead, she has to act all decent? nope.
She's not leading by example here and she's not claiming to be anyone's heroine, she's simply a normal person who has her own ways of doing things. Okay, logically crazy & way too drastic? I agree, but you gotta accept the fact that these kind of people DO exist.
And when it's in a drama, the character is too true and the whole beauty of the drama lies within that.

And hold on for a sec, it's been only 4 episodes till now, give the character some time to develop and judge her when it ends!
Well, to me even if she doesn't change her sassy side, she will still be good in my eyes, maybe not perfect but real & good enough. She's not flawless but sure she has her own qualities.
On Caution, Hazardous Wife Oct 17, 2017
As much as I'm thrilled by finding Nishijima so cheerful and happy (for the first time in my life lol, and which's so cute!), I'm not finding this drama so amusing.
It's the typical Japanese Oh-I-know-what-it-is-coming-next kinda plot, on every episode so far.
On Manhole Oct 15, 2017
Title Manhole
Things I liked about this drama:
- Bong Pil's beautiful sight.
- Jung Hye Sung's genuine & natural acting.
- Dal Soo's sweet voice.
- The OST.
- The ending.

Things I didn't like about this drama:
- It was too tiring to carry forward (gets dead boring from Ep 10).
- Jo Seok Tae (as a whole, his character annoyed me from the start till the end)
- Some holes and a lot of things which do not make sense.
- The side stories that did nothing but made me waste so much time.
- When everyone get too much nagging on Pil and interfering on his life/love matter(s) - I know he messes things up sometimes, but he's not a complete loser! C'mon people.. It gets frustrating at some points.
- The villain that pops up out of nowhere and ends up in nowhere.

6.5/10
5 points for the things I listed above (I liked, obviously) + 1.5 for their good acting and the manhole idea.
On Witch's Court Oct 10, 2017
Nothing appeals in my eyes like seeing a strong women, although she's not the typical prosecutor heroine who fights for righteousness all the time (at least not in Ep 1), yet her strong personality hits me right in the heart.
Keep it up Jung Ryeo Won.

I dropped this on like episode 3 cuz it bored me to death, should I try rewatching??
Nope, take my advice, invest your time in better dramas with better plots.
On Hapimari: Happy Marriage!? Sep 28, 2017
Okay, I just finished it, good plot but could've been executed in a better way, I believe.
Rated it with (8.5) overall, just for Dean's laugh on the last episode, can't stop thinking how lucky Vanina is!
