how everything/ most ppl are working to Xu Xiao/ Bei Liang's favour so far? Even the well known enemy of Xu Xiao/ Bei Liang, being Qing Chen Wang and his sec) is Bei Liang's ally/ subordinate. Like, too many/ or the extent of the status of ppl secretly working under him is surprising, like even the man by the Princess' side is under Xu Xiao.
Hoping they'll be more martial art fight scenes going forward.
Only one small comment, somehow the colours of the drama looks odd…. It’s related to the production quality….?…
Yes, I've notied that with JoL too, it's like they lowered the saturation, so everthings looks less colourful and more grey; does take some getting used to...
Enjoying the drama and the pace so far. However, I find the chemisty between the guys and the FLs a little lacking. Also surprised how XM moved on quite quickly from her bf of 8 years... but I may have spoken too soon since I'm only on ep 7
Is/ was this drama still being filmed when they released it like the usual k-dramas? Have they started season 2 and 3 or will it be a while until we get the later seasons?
Because when they were kids Lu Yunqi was just a tiny boy so Zhu Zan (the bully) calls him Lu XiaoZǎo (陆小枣)…
I thought that too. If they keep emphasisng his past, they should at least give us more details like how did he manage to rise up to be in a position with so much power.
Did I miss something?! The ending on episode 32 really took me by surprise. What happened between NGZ and JL? That hostility was so uncalled for... I get that he didn't stick up for ZZ's Dad when his Uncle did but you know he's a newcomer and it's prolly best to stay a bit neutral in the early stages.
And when JL returned back to JZ and met him personally, he helped her get that Teacher out to save the day and open the city gates?! So what happened there? Surely she should be grateful, infact, ZZ should too! Jeez... I hope this was for show/ fake otherwise I'm quite disappointed...
I haven't finished the drama yet, so no spoilers please, but out of curiousity (excuse my ignorance), are the locations in the drama, like Yun Cheng, Tai Cheng, Bian Cheng real places in China? Or are they fictional?
I have aquestion why the writer said that the female is very strong and breaks stones but all the epsoids weak…
That's what I thought! They emphasised thisin episode 1 and then somehow her strength disappeared... or the writers totally forgot about it. I mean, during ep 27, I thought her strength would come into play just like the episode 1 when those guys wannted to bully her and her Dad - but nope! I mean, did the main FL in the original drama have this skill? Was it put to use?
Do we know what the deal is with LXY and Xiao Su? Having cut out that rough encounter from the previous epsiode, we do not really know what happened in the past right save that he pursued her. He must have done something bad though.... its getting messy...
Some Chinese netizens were complaining about to too on Weibo. Apparently, the scenes were cut to pass censorship.
They should have dropped a more obvious hint (I never read the synopsis - my bad!) Yu Zheng reminded her of the night near Zen Rong's grave but she herself didn't seem like she was aware of the ONS? She simply replied somewhere along the lines of "When I woke up, hotel staff told me a guy sent me here"...
they cut out a lot of stuff, like the flashback of when Xiao Su and Yu Zheng first met too, they were suppose…
No wonder!!! I thought why Yu Zheng had such prejudice against her when they met merely on the grounds that he took her into a hotel and just left?! It didn't make sense for him to be so harsh on her. Omg, it would have made so much sense if they included the scenes! But surely she can't be the only one to blame for the ONS. Why did they cut these scenes out!? (I never read the synopsis - ought to have!)
You asked an interesting question concerning whether Ah Sun know he's from the central plains. There is nothing…
Thanks for your input.
I was interested to make sure I hadn't missed anything, like @TLBJunkie mentioned below, it was hinted so I thought there was more to it. And also I recall someone mentioning in the comments a while back like his childhood was soo sad or something, so I thought there was a part that I missed out. Maybe s/he was referring to the death of his Ah Na
Have certain scenes been cut out that were in the trailer? There was a scene in episode 10 which kinda corresponds to the the dinner meeting where Fan Lu took Xiao Su with her to "help with the drinking" and she after her toilet break, she tripped and somewhat fell into Yu Zheng's arms. Shortly after LXY came over and she got all awkward and was like hiding behind Yu Zheng's back until LXY said "We'll catch up next time". Judging from their clothes, it seems like the scene from the trailer where they had a rough confrontation? But this didn't show and she seems awkward. Before when she first saw him in the work lift, she was all confident and now suddenly she's super uncomfotable. The scene doesn't transition too smoothly. Did anyone else notice that?
Hi, I just want to double check whether there were any further scenes in the drama regarding Ah Sun's childhood? I know he's originally from the central plains as Yan Li Khan mentioned it a few times implying that he doesn't want the leader to be of central plains descent. But save for this information and that he is an orphan and his Ah Na found him and raised him - that's all we got to know from the drama right? Does Ah Sun know he's from the central plains.
Hoping they'll be more martial art fight scenes going forward.
