What's been great so far for me in this drama is not just the gripping plot - it's taken the trouble to flesh…
I agree, that's why after the first episode when they hardly had any scenes together, there was enough to keep us occupied and wanting to know more about the other characters that I weren't even thinking, goshhh this is so slow, they need to hurry and meet but of course, I welcome the re-encounter!
Those were the first short series I watched and really got hooked on. He’s killing it with pacing and cliffhangers…
Same!!! It really made me see short series in a different light (not that I had watched many before anyway). I always thought the Killer is also romantic could be a potential longer series, with bg as to how they got their respective roles, how they met etc.! Anyways too much of a different series here hehe!
Love the pacing and just realised it's the same Director who did the short series, Familiar Stranger and the Killer is also romantic which were good! I was hoping he'd do a longer length series!
Can someone please spoil me re: Mei Mei (with spoiler alerts of course for other viewer's sake)
I've seen clips of FL saying to the Duke that the person he's looking for, i.e. Mei Mei was her maid who died - is this the truth or not. And if not, is Mei Mei and FL the same person? Thanks!
I think I might be in the minority for enjoying seasons 3 - 5. Granted, there are numerous frustrating parts/ characters that many have mentioned below that just makes your blood boil but knowing that it's almost coming to an end, it's a little sad.
Wouldn't mind a season 6 but I'm likely in the minority XD. I do find myself skipping parts/ fast forwarding, but yeah XD.
I also never watched seasons 1 and 2 so I can't compare; my views are merely based on seasons 3 - 5.
I'm not too sure if I missed the details, but could someone explain how the FL came between...
the relationship of her rich friend and HBY, or did they kinda just move on? Coz stealing someone's boyfriend doesn't quite seem to fit her character...
I get shes a princess but princesses are not usually above the emperor. Whereas here, even the Emperor has to be careful around her?
Also can someone explain why the princess has so much authority please?
