Yes, as for me the whole Tawan - Aran and now Shohei arc is taking too much screen time for the interest I have…
It's 10 episodes, not 12. So next episode is the last :'( And yes, 10 episodes isn't enough for all the unnecessary subplots. They should have stopped at Thee/Peach love story.
Let me put it this way: the Aran-Tawan relationship is a perfect example of a toxic relationship in which one…
Not every person in a toxic relationship stays in a toxic relationship. Even in real life. A lot of people are able to leave. And the previous episodes showed just that : when Tawan went to Aran and Aran gave him that box with his belongings. It was meant to be the end. That how it happens in a lot of toxic relationships : the person who is abused lets finally go. Sadly, this episode made it like it never happened.
Unpopular opinion, but WilliamEst couple but Est cameo did not need to be in the series as PerthSanta were the…
In my case, I wish PerthSanta wasn't the side couple. Because if Santa's boyfriend was some other actor, maybe Tawan and Aran would have broken up. As they SHOULD
the changes they made to Tawan and Arans storyline made me so annoyed if they wanted them to end up together unlike…
"also changing the kids storyline just enough to add in a little girl getting abused by her adoptive parents " You mean it didn't happen in the novel ? Then that's so stupid and unnecessary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
About Tawan. I'm so mad for that move !!!! That's what I hate about GMMTV : they can't write a bad ending about their popular ships. It's so annoying. The way they wrote him in episode 9 was so OOC. You said that he didn't change but still ends with Aran. In my case, I felt like he changed. Well they pictured it that way : he told Thee about Shoei kid who wanted to kill him, the speech with Shoei kid about doing everything to please someone who'll never love him anyway (I felt it was some parallel to him and Aran), etc.
They tried to picture him like a changed and better man, but it's too late. We DIDN'T SEE that change. It happened off screen. I don't know if it makes things worse or not. I could have understood if he was a jerk at first but changed throughout the episodes, little by little. But the way they did it ? No!
Also since when Shoei kid and Tawan are friends ? I thought they just met not long ago and became accomplices. But in episodes 9, it's like they were childhood friends???
Me three minutes thirty-two seconds into second ep: "Oh, honey, call HR."
"alt-Ogami like a serial killer" OMG!!! That was the impression he gave me!! Especially his smiles. They gave me the feeling of a psycho-manipulative serial killer XD
This is one of those things where I feel like I watched a completely different movie than everyone else.I went…
You said everything I felt in the first 20 minutes of the movie. Now I don't even feel like watching the remaining 1h40😅😭
The movie started without any world building. "Dance ✔️ Competition ✔️ Rivals ✔️ Some sexy time to make the viewers happy ✔️ etc."
The cinematography is so beautiful, but they ruined it with the poor story telling. And that's the problem with most movies/series nowadays. They're so focused on making everything beautiful and pleasing for the eyes that they forget the most important : the story and the emotions. Especially the raw ones. We're told how to feel / how the characters feel instead of being made to feel it. It’s too expository😞
as a heavily pierced person all i could think during the ep 6 hotel scene is that is the quickest way to get an…
I only have 2 piercing (1 in each ear) that I got when I was a few months old. And my only thought in that scene was about all the things that could get wrong!!! Having a lot piercing doesn't make someone a professional !!! Nor a person who can do it !!! And the infection!!! What's the point of that scene!!!!!! It's only made me cringe
Well, that's the thing, he likes and respect Ah ning as much as Xiao ge, at least until her death, but pingxie…
He doesn't like her as much as Xiao Ge. The author never intended for them to be a couple and they barely interact. There are even less interactions in the books, but I think some drama wrote their relationship somewhat ambiguously to pass censorship. I'm glad they didn't go farther.
However, he's kind and a total newbie. If someone needs help, he'll help. Be it strangers (Pangzi in the beginning) or traitors (not the first traitor he'll help).
Just completed watching drama....Love this kind of mystery, supernatural , tomb raiding and treasure hunt drama....☠👻👾All…
Then you should love all the other series from this franchise😌 Just write Wu Xie order on google and you'll find all the series and in which order to watch them.
hahahahaha done. its entertaining. but im so confused w the ending. maybe i missed something 🤣
No. The production team just decided to make A HUGE SPOILER in the FIRST SEASON when it should come WAAAAAYYYYY LATER.
Readers (or viewers in this case) should take the long journey with Wu Xie to discover the truth that his uncle hide alongside him. Something HUGE. So we're supposed to know the truth at the same time. I don't know when exactly because I HAVEN'T REACHED that book yet, but it should be toward the end. Maybe the eighth book? We shouldn't even see uncle three after he disappears and we DON'T know his whereabouts, AT ALL.
No I'M NOT ANGRY ABOUT THAT SPOILER!!!!😡🤬😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Hum...I'm fine😀
Not lacking I would say, they just met so it will get stronger in coming parts.
"Zhang Qilling was supposed to be a girl and love interest of Wu Xie" Is it official or some comment written by fans?
As for me, I read somewhere that the ship was so popular, he decided to not write a love interest for either of them. He couldn't make them canon because of China's censorship but he didn't want to make them straight and disappoint the fans.
It seems I am in minority here but I don't like this version much in comparison with previous two covering the…
FINALLY someone who feels the same way. I hate how the ending spoiled me😭 I'm only reading book 3 and I haven't watched all the version, so this was a huge spoil😤 Plus, in the books, they never showed us uncle 3 after he went missing. Here, they showed too much of him.
As for the running around, I also felt the same. There were scenes were the characters ere just running like headless chickens. Unlike the other series where they focused more on "story telling". Plus, 18 episodes aren't enough to cover both 1st seasons, so the story felt too rushed.
Note : it's small little things, but they bothered me nonetheless: 1. the grandpa' notebook was too well preserved for something that old. The other series did a better job. 2. Xiao Ge's face revelation in the sea tomb was so laaaaame. Especially because they tried to make it cool. 3. The boatman and his dog who ate "bat shit", so that's why they can enter the cave. From what I remember, it was corpse flesh. Maybe I remember it wrong.
Not over the underwater scene. Like the way Xiaoge took the time to remove his jacket and put his jacket around…
In the underwater scene, I could almost see Xiao Ge do some underwater "CPR"😭 Then, when Wu Xie woke up I could see him touch his lips like he "remembered something"🫠😭😭

What's that logic?!!!!
My hypothesis is that, since it's a hotel, they could use a dryer.
What's the point of that scene!!!!!!
