I understand your point. The French doesn't have to be perfect but it should be understandable. Especially if they plan to make the "speaking French" a big part of the character.
E.g. They say MC is a great singer. Then he starts singing...and he isn't. Obviously, it would take us out of the series.

Same here. I think the problem is GMMTV. The more I watch their series, the more I have that feeling something is missing (especially toward the end of their series) and the more I feel their actors' talent is wasted.

The last episode ends with 3 couple, don't fight me over this:
1st FL with X, 2nd FL with Y (I don't want to spoil so I'm not writing the names) and OF COURSE our main couple, roommates : Jin Zhan/Yu Shu!

No. There is no romance for the main characters. Well Jin Zhan (1st ML) has a crush on 1 girl (1st FL) in the beginning, but they, later, just became friends (and, toward the end, there was some implied romance between her and a male side character).
As for the other girl (2nd FL), she has a crush on Yu Shu (2nd ML), but it one sided. There is also another guy who likes 2nd FL and maybe future romance between them?

Anyway the series isn't focused on romance, but rather on youth and friendship. Plus, there is a lot of bromance.

I have one thing to say: when Gu Fei appeared, it was like a toxic ex boyfriend came to win back his lover (Jin Zhan). The new lover (Yu Shu) got jealous and it was endless fight between them for the Jin Zhan's love. With Gu Fei being a manipulative b*tch.

Now there are but they're SO BAD!!!!!!!!! I hope someone will make better subtitle.

I don't think there is an uncut version. I think they cut some scenes to pass censorship so there is no uncut version available.

I know right. I hate her so much. In the original, she was worse. We saw how much pressure she put on her child throughout most of the drama. Here we see her less often. She almost destroyed her son's psyche. Or did she?

I want to say more about her, but I don't want to spoil. So maybe I'll come back after a few episodes. Anyway I wish she suffered a little more in the original.

As a stand alone it's good. As a remake, I don't see why they say it's a remake. For now I'm only at episode 1, but I only see some inspirations from the original.
The vibes are completely different. This one is darker and, from the trailer, I think there will be more parts with gangs.
Also I find some characters disappointing compared to the originals. Something feels off about them.
E.g. teacher "UhmForce" has less charisma here!!!!

But like I said it's only the first episode so it might change later.

P.S: I also feel like the story is too rushed? For e.g there is a scene that reminds me of when the bully hurts the female homeroom teacher by accident. If I remember correctly, in School 2013, it happens later. He even feels bad about it which shows his character's development : he starts becoming a good person thanks to the kind teacher. Here, it happens in the first episode so it's not the same impact. Then maybe I'm wrong and there are 2 similar scenes with a second one for later episodes.

I'm only at episode 1. Every time MC starts describing the characters' action to prove his point (e.g. they're lying), it feels off. I've watched Sherlock Holmes, so the description part isn't weird.
However, something feels off in the way they're executed?

I have a question: Should I watch Stranger before watching this drama or not?

I love Takahashi Fumiya's smile. He's so freaking cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😆🥰
In the meantime, Shison Jun is just so hot, especially when his character just flirt (because it IS flirting) with Gaku.

No. Only a secret cruch from one of the female lead, but she never confesses and Gaku (her cruch) only sees her as a friend. The series is focused on other themes and genres, not on romance.

Honestly, that one of the thing I hate about BL fans: Their obsession with kisses is sickening. No matter how well written are the story, the characters, etc., they'll only talk about the kisses and NC scenes, even giving a low rating or dropping the series because it's not how they want it.
