I don't understand why people are so obsessed with kisses. It could be the best series ever made, an absolute masterpiece, people will hate the series and give a low rating because of a kiss.

I feel like Kobayashi Toranosuke is too stiff and his face is expressionless. He doesn't fit well his character. I remember that Onodera Akira was more natural in his role as Taichi.
Well it's only episode 1. Hope he'll improve.

In my case, I don't find them weird because of the long hair. However, the trailer gave off some weird vibe: like the acting seems awkward, especially "in the past" and the whole thing gave off low budget/weird editing.
I know that everyone is excited because of the "NC scenes in a danmei", but I'm already worried about the quality. I don't have any expectation and I fear what kind of series it'll be.

Gemini's character isn't supposed to be bland. He's stoic, but he has charisma and he's kind. Plus he shows more of his emotions after he starts dating Aoki.

And yet, they don't have chemistry in this drama. I kept forcing myself to feel it each time they were trying to show us their love, but I couldn't feel anything.

No matter how many years they wait, people will still compare. Especially when one is better than the other.

About the eraser part: it was sorted just as quickly (beginning of ep.3) but it didn't feel as rushed because of the way it was brought.

I highly recommend the Japanese version. There is more emotions in it.

1. People who saw the Japanese version are bound to compare them.
2. The problem isn't Gemini&Forth per se. They've shown us their talent. Especially in Moonlight chicken where they did a wonderful job. However, in this series, the director did a poor job. It's like they lost their talent.
3. GMMTV is a big company. There will always be people to criticize.
4. Watching a drama means enjoy the good part and criticize the bad part, not just one or the other.
5. In the Japanese version, Aoki didn't fall so quickly in love but he was instantly supportive of Hashimoto. He did everything to create alone moments between her and Ida. That's why he was so sad when he fell in love with him: he could no longer support her. Then when the misunderstanding was resolved they were both happy: they were no longer rivals.

Is it a crossdressing joke? I don't see the joke. Or why so many people are saying that. He only played Cinderella's character. Who is a woman. Anyways, since the change was decided at the last minute, they didn't have men's clothes for Aoki.

Plus they don't need to make Cinderella a BL to show their respect. Jp version wasn't disrespectful just because Aoki, a man, played Cinderella's role.

Note: There are men (not trans, not drag queen, but men) who genuinely love crossdressing.

There are only 2 episodes out so I can't judge the whole series. However, here are my thought for now:
Gemini is stiff and bland
Forth is a cheap version of his character in MySchoolPresident
Both aren't conveying any emotion at all. It's like watching 2 Mannequins trying to imitate humans' relationships & emotions and failing miserably!!!
There is NO chemistry!!!!! Like what happened??????!!!!!!!!! How did they manage to do that????!!!!!!

Michieda and Meguro did a better job in portraying Aoki & Ida. So if you haven't watched the Japanese drama yet, I recommend watching it right now. As for this, you can watch if you want a BL light series and you aren't demanding.

Note: Before hardcore fans attack me, I know the problem isn't Gemini&Forth. They were SO GOOD in Moonlight chicken!!!! They've shown us that they have talent. I think the problem is the director. Such a waste of their talent😔

"They sped run that plot twist making it very weak." It's the same in the original. It's not a huge plot twist. Plus the story isn't focused on that.
I agree with you about the emotions. I don't feel any kind of emotion from the characters. It's like they're describing a story instead of living the characters' story, being them & feeling their emotions. Maybe it'll get better?
(I'm only talking about Gemini&Forth. I don't remember about the others😅)

At least, thanks to this remake, I re-watched the Japanese drama and I remembered why I loved it so much.
