The problem is that while they touch on very sensitive and important topics like child abuse, child molestation…
Well, I guess with BL being a fantasy after all, being saved by a dick is no less plausible than being resurrected by a non-con kiss 😉 At least, here dick-saving is consentual 🎉 King being his hot self is great, can’t complain 😻 Uea is beautiful and as he thaws I think he’ll be as hot. I have to say that I would like to see Net and James in a different dynamic next time. I really need James to portray someone confident and playful from the start. I think he could pull off sass very well 😉
Well we all knew that it would be toxic. We just didn't know that all actors in this show never couldn't act or…
I guess they figured he’s the only normal person who they made a victim here, so he’s allowed to behave normally. Everyone else is a perp, so they have to behave like perps 🤷♀️ I might give it a course more episodes just to see how they explain to Day who they all are 😂 If poor Day read a description of the series he’d lose the last bit of sanity he’s got left 🤣
Someone said he was in Not Me but he doesn’t look like any of the kids listed in the credits.
There’s another amazing little boy in Thai series: Kim Achita Panyamang. He’s in The Promise right now, and he played in Dear Doctor, Cutie Pie, Bad Buddy and like 10 shows overall. He’s really good, too! 🥰
I agree, we don't need to see him going back to that house, but that was a powerful scene with the sister. I loved…
Honestly, I was watching for Great, Lift, and NetJames 😂 But to be fair, straight romcom actors have it even worse. For example, Chinese actor Luo Zheng was stuck as a ML dealing with twin sisters switch in 3 (three) movies in a row!!! 🤦♀️ So looks like being stuck with the same types of roles is a doomed destiny of majority of romantic leads - straight show or otherwise 🤷♀️ I see more variety in BL so far - that’s why I prefer BL, even though it still has a lot to desire in this respect 😉

I saw them in Catch Me, Baby. It was the same dynamic - Net’s character a player and James was a very proper guy. The difference was that James’ character fell first and actually confessed, but Net’s character didn’t respond right away or something like that ☺️ But then he was teasing and running after James’ character just the same to be his boyfriend. It was fun to watch, even though they weren’t getting too much of a screen time in that series.
There is just endless trauma with Uea. It's not even the sexual assaults, it's the memories of his mother's continuous…
The problem is that while they touch on very sensitive and important topics like child abuse, child molestation and sexual assault, which is a whole lot for a BL, they are missing a great opportunity to stress an importance and validity of professional help in these cases. They slide right back to “just find a wonderful boyfriend with magic dick and you’ll be all right” trope. That’s a shame 🤦♀️
Like I was so confused on why the supposed to be "cold" boss character Gun simply just allowed himself to be swayed…
I felt the same way - too rushed. Also, Cher knows that Gun is gay and he’s very supportive of him to the point of hugging him to demonstrate he’s not disgusted by Gun’s sexual orientation. Meanwhile, Cher mentions that his friend Three does it for Zo when Zo is upset. But they are boyfriends! 😂 Then, the kiss - was that also a part of demonstration or was Cher just flirting at this point? 🤷♀️ I am so confused as Cher never stated his own preferences to Gun. So at this point, is Cher such a great person who will kiss anyone who suspects he might be disgusted by them, or does he like Gun? Oh well, at least, they weren’t drunk after being dumped by a girl 😂
It's a cute little minidrama. The actors are selling me on the emotions of their characters. And I actually would…
You’re right, and personally, I am perfectly fine with both points 😻 To me, people are different, therefore dramas should also be different as they depict people, right? 😉 I’m in for any type of drama - from pure romance to smutty smut, as long as it keeps me in the story 🥂
So the reason Ki Hoon doesn't drink is cuz he's a total lightweight? Lmao that's hilarious!
It must be more than that I think. I mean, if he just can’t hold his liquor - he wouldn’t be drinking. But he definitely doesn’t want his customers to drink. I think he’s a recovering alcoholic, or he knows he blacks out and can do something dangerous, like driving. Maybe he caused an accident when drunk and he’s trying to prevent others from doing it.

I hope this works for you 😊
