I watched the first 2 episodes and I really liked the actors and Wuxia backdrop, but seeing what people were saying about the novel I figured I should put it on hold and see if they exclude the shitty rapey stuff. Looks like I should keep waiting for the last episode to air and then check the comments. I like it how Pie and Bahmee became closer. Hopefully, they will mash their characters together and divide the sum by two. For now, Pie’s identity is a sharp worker (and nothing else), while Bahmee’s whole identity is an obsessively caring wife (and nothing else). Nothing wrong with being an excellent worker or a caring wife, but these girls are way on the extreme ends of the spectrum. So hopefully they’ll pick up some traits from one another and come closer to a “center”. Pie needs to chill a bit and Bahmee needs to sharpen up a bit. We’ll see what happens 😉
