I totally agree with you! Honestly, I started thinking that Nan/Chompoo are portraying an asexual couple with “No touching” agreement. Which is perfectly fine, but if that’s the case - it would be nice to somehow accentuate on that so that it doesn’t look just weird and not believable.

Yep, theoretically they’ve had ton of sex, including in the bathroom stall (which I am not really sure anymore - maybe they just discussed current politics there🤷‍♀️).
Meanwhile, Team is clutching his pearls every time Win makes a slightly suggestive move, and they used camera angles for a kiss on the cheek 🤦‍♀️
It’s like they switched directors and/or writers after the first couple of episodes.

Honestly, I really don’t care about the sister much - she’s a supporting character. Although, she managed to go from zero to a wedding within 8 months time skip. Meanwhile, MC is still engaged… Anyway, there will be some awkward family gatherings in their future 😂

As for the old fart, I would love to see an actual resolution to that beating stuff. I can offer a couple of options:
1. Mom poisons his favorite chess and he kicks the bucket after a game with himself.
2. An grows a pair and doesn’t tolerate any of the abuse, tells daddy to fuck off and goes to live his life.
3. Bai Lang finds out about the beatings and finishes off his daddy-in-law himself. I’m sure the family would chip in for a shovel and a nice spot in the garden.

Besides, as an heir to that huge business, Nueng needs to learn to discern trustworthy people from scammers. He can’t do it if he’s shielded all the time. And again, how can a boy his age even from a tougher background be his bodyguard and his shrink?
With constant threats to their lives, I would have Palm live with them as Nueng’s companion, put them both into a homeschooling program and have actual bodyguards around.
Of course, then we wouldn’t have our second couple - but we could have bodyguards instead (we know the drill) 😂

For example, for me - in my 40+ years, it was never an option to fall for a guy who never showed any interest in me as I am too logical and consider one-sided pining a waste of time. So I would mark him off my “hunting list” and wish myself happy hunting next time - plenty of fish in the sea! 😻
But lots of people are more emotional and need external help to get distracted. And both are fine - whatever works for each person 😉

I understand your point about gay boys falling in love with straight guys, and it definitely sucks. I think, though, that any unrequited love is painful. Even if Dew was straight it doesn’t mean he would ever get interested in Mint, while he could fall in love with some other girl. To me, feelings are either there, or not. And there’s nothing you can do about it for both parties. Whether the person who confesses to you is from the general group you are sexually attracted to, or not - if you don’t love them, they need to move on. It’s nobody’s fault.
Mint’s problem (in my opinion) is that she didn’t extract herself from the situation. If she knows it’s extremely hard for her to move on while being friends with Dew, she should do whatever it takes to avoid him: move away or just stop interacting with him, having explained to him that it’s not his fault but she needs space.

As for the scene on the staircase where she denies that Dew might be gay - I think he’s told her about his sexual orientation and they are in agreement to cover it up by fake dating. That’s just my theory based on Mint’s facial expressions during that scene. Of course, I might be wrong - we’ll see 😊

What is it with the writers loving the trope of a girl with no self respect? Who would actually go on for years, declaring their everlasting love to a man who is clearly not interested in them and he’s being very clear and upfront about his disinterest, too? I have never met any woman like that in my life. But I guess there’s an abundance of them in soap operas 😂

Also, if I had a friend who is obsessed with me for years, I would cut them off and out of my life for their own good. Otherwise, they obviously can’t move on.

I might be wrong, but it looks like in Dew’s world Dew and Mint are dating. She asked him to date her and he finally agreed. I bet it’s to cover up that he’s gay to indulge his family (which is a separate can of worms). Because they are officially dating but idiot Mint is posting self-pity messages on Outstagram, Aun and Joey are losing their shit since they believe Dew is hurting Mint as a bad boyfriend.

In Mum’s world, they are not dating and still are just friends.

Honestly, when your friend is obsessed with you for years, I think it’s best to cut them off for good. It would allow them to actually move on.
