I would love to see Shogun and Maitoh together, but I bet Green and Maitoh is the end game. Just based on their pairing for AiLongNhai. Besides, we all know “friends to lovers” is one of the safest tropes in BL, although this show is not really a BL so anything is possible.
Also, I don’t believe they would show Maitoh’s little brother for nothing, just to waste screen time… so I guess he might be intended for either Shogun or Green. Given that Green has known him since birth and is in love with Maitoh - he’s probably reserved for Shogun.

If that’s the case - it’s cruel and I am not sure if it’s helpful. Name might need a good therapy specialist and all the support available.
