I don’t think Mangkorn’s mom ever saw Yai. I mean, those were Yai’s parents who picked up Yai and his sister. I didn’t see anyone else there except for Mangkorn and Hong 🤷‍♀️

About that kiss… not only it lasted forever (not that I’m complaining), but Yai perked his lips for the kiss which tells us either:
1. Yai saw the move and went for it too,
Or
2. Isbanky was through several takes of the scene and was too ready for the kiss part. And the director didn’t give him correction.
I watched BTS for Kdrama “W”, and the ML was doing the same thing as he subconsciously was ready for the scene. The director immediately gave him correction to stop perking up, and in the final version the kiss look genuinely unexpected to the ML.
Just an observation. 😉

Seriously, though, the BL genre is still pretty young, hence - tropes galore until they milk anything possible. I’m waiting for the genre to mature and give us more variety of topics, characters and even new tropes. Recently, they started making more BLs with different plots, more mature characters, so I hope we’ll get there sooner rather than later 🥂
