If I may, I’d like to ask you something. When you can’t say something out loud, have you tried to say it in another language? I was never diagnosed with selective mutism, but from the description of it I used to have something like it under certain conditions. I would have words just stuck in my throat but I couldn’t push them out. I could be crying but still couldn’t say anything unless the topic was changed. So, I discovered that saying the same stuff in English was a game changer since foreign words don’t carry the same emotions and associations as the native language. So now in those conditions I just flip to English and communicate logically without any emotions hindering me. That’s just my experience and maybe it could be useful? ☺️ Good luck! 😻

PS: honestly, even though they are peripheral characters so far, Pai and his girl friend got my interest more than, say, the fugioshi girl and her boyfriend 😊. So I really wouldn’t mind giving them more of a development. Like, Charles for Pai and a nice guy (or girl) for Pai’s girl friend.

You didn’t miss anything. They just left Name at home. I think it’s because universities of that time don’t have special programs for people with speach issues. And online classes are not invented yet. So he’s basically stuck at home.

Yep, that’s what it looks like to me too - his friends were too happy to provide him with an info. He obviously had no idea who that girl was (even though for a playboy I would expect him to know all “stars” by heart). But he never did any research on her? Okay 😂
As for Gun’s extreme shyness with Golf - who knows, maybe for him it’s as hard to overcome as for Name to speak up 🤷‍♀️ This whole new persona he came up with gives him more freedom, just like MSN lets Name talk without actually overcoming his obstacle. Convenient, but at the same time - a huge disservice.

Just wanted to mention that I really liked the girl friend of Pai - that cute sassy boy. She’s such a good friend to him - while she tries to talk some sense into Pai, she fully supports him on his decisions and lifts his spirits after disappointment. Good job! I hope to see more of them. Oh, maybe Charles could grab Pai? I’m sure he wouldn’t be bored with that firecracker! 😻😂

I agree. While setting boundaries is great, it also requires communication with the person you are setting them for. Especially if like you said, Gear never allowed anything improper towards Prince. If there are no feelings - stop leading that poor boy on and go take care of yourself. I just love it how ukes need CARE all the time. To me, pick a struggle - either firm boundaries or “take care of me”.

Yes, the novel can be strictly followed only by a porn series 😂 They’d have no issues filling up those 40 minutes 🤣
Of course, this genre of series is supposed to have some other plot lines, so if they chose smut to take as a base - no problem, but they should really come up with new interesting arcs for the characters. They have a lot of blanks to fill and it’s pretty much creating from scratch, so they have plenty of area to play and create. It would be a shame if they don’t use this freedom to the full potential. We’ll see… 😉

Well, I can see how it could be relevant to Mitsuru. Let’s say, Koichi would be rotting. Then, Mitsuru could work with the doctor to mummify his body or something like that to prevent it from rotting, and the doctor would be a valuable resource as Mitsuru is a kid and can’t get to places and do procedures that a professional can. So it wasn’t just a curiosity - it was to determine the plan of action. I’d say it’s pretty mature of Mitsuru. In this case, the doctor said he’s not rotting and gave us this “static” theory, so one less thing for Mitsuru to do, one more thing for the audience to get the situation :)

Exactly! I loved the references to the “must haves”, like slip and catch, towel bath, medical kit etc. but they showed it more realistically. Like, how it would really look if a guy was trying to handle another tall guy who actually feels sick - clumsy and all over the place 😂 A medical kit navigated by a a guy who has no clue what he’s doing instead of a usual suave techniques 🤷‍♀️ So so good! 🥰
