Yes, exactly! 😂 that’s why I wish they didn’t imply in the show that Yai is that smart to stage a whole assault on tape - he’s an idiot, not a rapist! I mean, what kind of bright ideas do you expect from a guy who thinks he’s pregnant after drinking some potion? 😂
Seriously, why did they decide to make THIS a series??? 🤦‍♀️ Did they just like the characters’ names and decided it would make a nice poster? 🤷‍♀️ To make anything out of that mess you have to start from scratch and have a brand new script 😊

No problem :) I read the novel a long time ago, and I was honestly surprised why they even decided to make series out of it. It was so dumb! Yai in the novel is a super airhead with one brain cell, but he never thought about having sex with Mongkorn originally. He just wanted to embarrass him on tape. And then he got “interested” in his dick! 🤦‍♀️

As far as I remember from the novel, Hong asked Mangkorn to special order those bracelets as a surprise for her girlfriend and she came to pick them up.
But of course without knowing that info it looks super weird and intrusive, especially for Yai.
But I guess that’s the whole premise of the plot built on misunderstandings 🤷‍♀️

I definitely disliked the doc being totally out of line, blaming the father who’s not even there for a decade. Making them hate their father while real culprit might be the fumes from mom perpetually cooking grilled meat and cleaning the restaurant with chemicals! 🙄
Peak outdid himself for sure. I was thinking he’d offer his support and reassurance of just being there for her, but nooo… 🤦‍♀️
Oh well, I still like the show and all the actors 😻

I really like this show and enjoy it a lot. The only thing I strongly disagree with is the way the doctor blatantly shoved all the blame for mom’s cancer on her ex husband. Why? To give the kids a scapegoat? But it’s their father who didn’t mean to cause this issue and now they have to do what - hate him?
Yes, that 3rd hand smoking (first time I hear about it) could cause something, or it could not - the doc has no means to find out. Lots of people live with the heavy smokers and nothing happens. And for some people it does happen.
I don’t smoke and can’t tolerate smoking around me - I start choking, so I don’t root for this habit.
Also, she spent all her life in the kitchen grilling and cleaning up using some chemicals I bet. I think all those fumes might be playing much bigger part in the cause of her illness, but doc didn’t even ask about her daily life! 🙄

I just don’t think the doc had any right to place the blame with no doubt on the only close relative those kids had left. He could have handled it differently.

Very true. As a girl, I didn’t risk being an altar boy, obviously, and I had bad experience with mostly strangers. I do know that a lot of times harm to kids comes from the people they and their families know 😣 those bastards have a special karma unit waiting for them! 👿

Exactly!!! I would have so much fun if I were Sky! And Phai said it himself that he loves it when Sky snarls at him 😻So give that boy his kink instead of that painful to watch illogical reversal of the character 🤦‍♀️

I know 😂 I was running around with the keys hung around my neck and walking everywhere since 6, but let me tell you - I did encounter serious issues because my parents generation couldn’t fathom an adult hurting a child.
Now, being outside and more self-sustainable doesn’t preclude us from being very close to our parents all our lives 😊 It’s not like they are control freaks, it’s more of a developing partnership as you age. I hope it makes sense ☺️

Overall, to me, no matter your gender - if you are paranoid and keep your partner under suspicion it won’t last long. Either you dig shit up or your innocent partner will get sick of it and run away. Your partner is not a dog - can’t keep them on a leash. Just my opinion 😉

Yep, that’s my beef with the writing here - the massive overreacting doesn’t make sense for this given circumstance.
That’s why I would have Sky bring all hell on the boy and Phai (as a preventative treatment), and I sooo would milk it for quite some time - that is definitely my favorite option 😂 Although, I’m pretty sure Phai wouldn’t mind playing the “milking” game with Sky 😂 He loves his sassy side!

Oh yes, “the sacrificial dump” is an old cliché, but I, too, was grateful for it to get resolved in a record time 😂

And mom was a whole next level - hilarious! 🤣 In my culture you try to hold your kids as close as possible forever pretty much, so her speech had me “holy shit’ting” at first, then laughing so much! 😂

I agree they should have gone with Sky bringing on all his sass and dominance into that party to claim his man and scratch that boy’s eyes out. I have said in my comments below, that at this point of Sky’s development it would make more sense than reverting him back to his immediately post-traumatic self. I mean, I understand that he was feeling betrayed (based on Phai’s body position - rightfully so). BUT this shouldn’t be a strong enough moment to bring in the avalanche. Not after months of Sky being resilient, sassy and sarcastic self.
Now, he has every right, like all of us, to feel weak and to need comfort and drop his sassy act at times - it’s fine. But again - a complete turnaround of a character not for just a short period of time, but permanently - umm, I don’t know…
I do hope they will let Sky be an adorable sassy dominant guy. If they don’t - whatever, I have my own imagination, thank you very much 😂

I loved this show! It’s so light and funny - and it’s finally about working adults! Thank you, writers! 😘
I really liked the specs of working moments because, yeah, they are in a workforce and not just hanging around the office gossiping (like some other shows).
Loved the Dad and their dynamic with Ho Joon - if they ever make season 2, I hope daddy will keep this energy.
Ho Joon’s decision at the end made perfect sense to me and avoided all the potential usual angst of “I will disinherit you” from the dad - nice!
Anyway, great job everyone! 🥰
