Exactly! He could even do something as simple as grab JH and their friend and go “shadow” the little guy on his way home. The three of them could easily manhandle the creep and either kill him or give him to the cops 🤦‍♀️

Sky might have been angry, but not as much with Pai as with himself I think. To me, it seems he was pissed at himself for getting into this situation, getting caught, and actually being attracted to Pai. They showed Sky singling out Pai from the crowd immediately.
Then, Pai was playing with him, saying he has to do “something”, but he never specified what exactly. And Sky is smart. If he wanted to play with words, he could easily get off the hook. Instead, he preferred to go for a hot night with a stranger…
So my take on it, he’s pretty angry with himself.

Absolutely! I would love to see a playful and healthy relationship with characters like Pai (playful, kind, indulging) and Sky (sassy, smart, dominant).
They don’t even have to be strictly seme/uke btw, but it’s certainly refreshing to see a softer seme and more dominant uke! Good for them! 😻

If you feel bad for Mame, I feel bad for the character. Nobody forced the author to come up with awful things to be done to her character in what is supposed to be a romantic story, not a thriller or a procedural.
I seriously don’t get those authors - do they get off on crap like this??? 😖

Totally agree - I wouldn’t repeat the scenes from PayuRain. I’d rather have new specs of them here and there.
As for different dynamic between the couples - yes, they are very different, and not only because of Sky. I think Pai is also totally different from Payu. He’s not as dominant - he’s more playful and flexible. Which is why he enjoyed more dominant Sky. I think Payu/Sky would never work, while Pai/Sky can work out (I mean in real life, since here of course it will work out 😂).
Honestly, I prefer this couple’s dynamic so far as Sky is smart, does things on his own terms and is not being a doormat. At least, for now 😉
I’m not trashing PayuRain - I liked what actors did for them. I’m just saying that personally I can relate better to PaiSky 😊

2gether is definitely not my standard :))) It’s an official BL without any action, while other BLs that you mentioned have a story, sizzling chemistry AND hot scenes that are driven by the story. Bromances built on BLs, like The Untamed, are different animals and for me, it did about the same as the awesome BLs you mentioned.
Don’t get me wrong - I do enjoy hot scenes, but story takes presidence for me. Story drives chemistry and hot scenes. If it’s just NC with no story I can’t sympathize with it and won’t enjoy it.
I never said TU was THE standard. I said it was MY standard - I know, I am weird this way 😂

I have to say their BROMANCES are much more on fire than some official BLs 😂
The Untamed is my BL golden standard in story, OST and chemistry. And I watched it before I even knew what a BL was 😂

Well, they only have 8 episodes, so might as well get this out of the way to give way to possibly different entities. You know, introduce the least threatening things first. Also, they gave a nice introduction to the “rules of engagement” by the cute “staff” from the beginning. Now they can go full throttle into the story.

Also, from what I heard, the actors are prohibited by the government to show up together in a movie for eight years once Addicted was stopped and banned.

Ok, I think the writer/director just doesn’t like BL. So they were trying to do everything in their power to sabotage each and every possible relationship here.
Now, Rain and Payu actors were just too good - so, they are dragged apart for, I don’t know, eight years, following Chinese “Addicted” example? 🤷‍♀️
This is my theory ‘cause I don’t see any other explanation for this mix of genres in a (theoretically) BL series - every genre is here except for BL! 🤦‍♀️

Yeah, she doesn’t look upset. But I think her character is not really upset - she’s angry and disgusted with Cake since she’s the queen and this mere mortal dares to ditch her to spend more time with his friend. She even asked him what was wrong with him after bringing up Eiw, so I think she figured his feelings for Eiw before he ever did.
I am not sure about her acting skills as I saw her only for these 5 minutes, but I think she did ok presenting resentment.

I was seriously waiting for Kim’s amnesia to kick in - come on, every self-respecting soap opera has one. Well, not all is lost yet, we still have 3 more episodes 🙃
Daddy Santi made my day - I was manifesting for him to get more screen time and something better than just “the food is served” - I like Lift a lot! So I don’t care how little sense the rest of the plot makes, I’m all good 😁
