Thank you 😊 As a child, I would get in fights to stand up for myself or for my friends - my family never had an issue with that. Granted, I wasn’t violent, it was rather to stop others from harassing me or my friends. A lot of times, we’d become good buddies after the fight.
Anyway, I would also task my child with teaching that friend how to fight so that they can stand up for themselves together.

Just curious, why do you think that Rin is a bad girlfriend? I don’t even remember seeing her after she’s introduced…
To me, it’s a bit strange that Rin doesn’t want to meet Cake’s friends - or maybe Cake doesn’t want her to meet them? Not sure about that one, but staying just with each other is normal for the initial phase of the relationship, but I think they have been together for a while now, so I’m surprised she doesn’t show up to meet his friends.
Also, her remarks about Cake being sweaty after playing sports - it depends on how she said it. It could be totally harmless and playful, but I see Cake took it seriously, and that’s not great.
I mean, she has every right to ask him to come to their dates cleaned up, but it shouldn’t prevent him from playing a game he likes. He really needs to manage his time better to be able to see his girlfriend and his friends, and study as well. That’s on him, not on her. If she starts being bitchy about it, then it’s up to him to break up with her.

I’m a mom, and if my child got into a fight standing up for a friend I would be praising my child instead of hitting. At least Cake’s dad was cool, but he’s scared of the mom (which is fine by me, but not in this case) 🙄
And I was happy to see Lift (he plays daddy), he’s such a good actor, I like him a lot! 😻

Exactly! To me, it’s all about a story. If the story is good I can totally survive without NC scenes 🤩 I think intimate scenes should be driven by a story, not opposite 😉

I agree - in real life it rarely works out at that young age. Too much of a difference socially, financially and emotionally. But this is a drama where the characters will fall in love at the same age, so I think it will “anchor” them to each other better than if they just met at 25 and 40.
And yes, those backhanded compliments are “priceless”! 😂 At least they acknowledge we are not dead yet! 😻🥂

Can you imagine if BL finally broke into this genre? If they could deliver this kind of story with better written complex characters in a dystopian world, add some procedural to it and have this crazy chemistry of more mature characters… Yeah, let’s drink on that! 😂🥂
Btw, I am halfway through and I like it very much.

If JW stays in the past he’ll overlap with himself, which is a no-no for a time travel. So if he can’t bring JH with him to his timeline they can only be together as 25 and 40 yo.
There are plenty of healthy 40yo who look better than some 25 yo 😸 Just saying…😉

I guess I am a “people from the West” 😂 But I don’t have any issues with age gaps as long as these conditions are in place:
1. The younger partner is 17+.
2. High maturity level of the younger partner.
There are some very mature 17yo and very immature 25yo people.
3. Both partners consent to the relationship.
So, to me, as long as both want the relationship and the younger partner physically and emotionally ready - go for it, best of luck! 🥂

I don’t think the creators of the show say that JW at 10 yo fell in love with 25 yo JH. He was very grateful to “ajussi” for saving his life and admired him. To a little boy JH is “uncle”, not even a “hyung”. When JW saw his “uncle” murdered he was traumatized and has been feeling guilty ever since, so again - no romantic love there.
For JH, the little guy is just a cute little bro, so there’s nothing “shocking” there.
Now, when they meet in the alternate timeline, they are the same age, adults. So they can start feeling whatever it is to each other - again, nothing “shocking”.
Even if JW is able to save JH and goes back to his timeline, it’s still fine since they are definitely adults with an age difference of 15 years. That’s not unheard of.
So, my point is - there’s no romantic feelings between them at the time when JW is 10 yo.

I think the lady hinted that JW could prevent the murder till January 30. That’s my theory and I’m sticking to it! 😉 I’m manifesting a happy end! 🙏

I think the story with a little boy hasn’t gotten to the point where Kang JH was killed yet. It looks like an adult JW arrived to the earlier timeline and has a chance to prevent the murder until January 30, like that lady said.

Yep. All his “reward/punishment” is just creepy to me. Like, sir, who are you to give out either one? 🤷‍♀️ Rain never consented to a dom/sub relationship, at least not from what I saw. Now, if they had a proper conversation and a proper agreement, I would be totally on board and enjoying the story. But the way it is - Payu seriously creeps me out. If I were Rain’s mom, I’d be right there with my frying pan in close contact with Payu’s head. 🥷

Absolutely! How many times does someone have to say “No, don’t touch me” for it to get through? Is it supposed to be cute?
I really try to like this show, and I do like and appreciate actors and production crew. I just can’t like Payu as a character, maybe because I am very much different from Rain who seems to eat it all up? I don’t know… their whole dynamic just makes me want to protect Rain. 🤷‍♀️
And don’t get me started on “wife” crap… 🙄
