Yes, knock on wood, none of those things happened yet. Although, to me their bed scene was not completely kosher…
Thank you very much for great conversation ☺️ Btw, I really liked “Diary of tootsies”. It’s not a BL, I think it’s a more realistic series, funny and endearing.
Lol given the fact that you've not seen the show.. im sure you're new to this neck of the MDL woods lol. Let me…
Great answer :) btw, my first BL when I didn’t even know what it was - You Make Me Dance. Very nice and “tame”, like you said :) That’s when I fell for BL dramas (not that I agree with all the storylines, but it’s ok) ☺️

Totally agree with everything, especially your P. S. That’s my “beef” with those authors as well. I’m sure it bears negative impact to LGBTQ community as many people see it as a “true” representation, which is a bunch of crap. I wish there could be a pushback from the readers to those authors for romanticizing violence in a relationship.

Oh, yes, it’s definitely about control, but it’s sickening when it’s used to “propel” the relationship. Like, how??? To me, if you need to have something brutal in your plot, it shouldn’t be a love story. It should rather be a detective story with the perp getting punished. All this seme/uke stuff - I can take it only as one of the “flavors” of the relationships, and only when both consent to it and both are happy. Sorry for venting all this :)

I agree - I liked the book overall, but KP was in a very gray area, while VP was an absolutely intended, repeated rape. I just don’t understand - why do these authors hate their characters so much? And who told them that rape is sexy? 🤷♀️

I stopped after they both could hardly walk once Bai Yo Lin had his “fun” with Gu Hai. I guess the author figured it was a great redeeming point or something, but it was consensual, although clumsy and painful (for both) - nothing like what Gu Hai did. I was totally sick of it. And I am a very calm person, but things like these make me see red. This author is not the only one - same goes for Vegas/Pete storyline. While everyone was gushing “My baby Vegas!” I thought “Are you seriously proud of a rapist? Really? Wow 🤢”. Thankfully, the movie did it differently, but I was sorry I’ve read the book. Seriously, wtf is wrong with these authors??? 🤷♀️

I couldn’t finish even book 1. I just couldn’t warm up to the ML anymore, so I dropped it. Same author wrote Beloved enemy - I finished it, but again - couldn’t stand the ML. Somehow, this author thinks that the cornerstone of every wonderful relationship is a brutal rape 🤢 Not sure what’s wrong with the woman… 😡 To me, any sex scene is a “go”, as long as it’s about consenting adults. If the characters are happy - I’ll enjoy it.

Yes, that would be interesting to find out - I haven’t read her books, so should I be scared? 😂 Seriously, though, I couldn’t finish reading Addicted - it made me so mad I was considering a nice donation to Chinese censorship department (or whatever they have) 🙀
It's an interesting conversation about the Daddy/Son thing. Hmmm! I didn't go to that conclusion, but it does…
Yes, knock on wood, none of those things happened yet. Although, to me their bed scene was not completely kosher (you know my opinion) 😉, at least it wasn’t anything brutal (if you don’t count first time anal without any lube) 😳

I’m not sure about that - the Shrew really wasn’t that interested in Petruchio and had no choice but get married to him. Honestly, I don’t like the topic and the methods in the story as the girl was left with no choice but to submit. At that time, in that society - where would she go even if she decided to leave her husband? So to me - she’s a survivor, doing what she has to do. Of course, I’m talking about a real life scenario, as Shakespear presented it as a comedy with happy end for everyone. Just my opinion :)
This was the comment I was looking for amidst all the NC scene gushing, In my opinion there's nothing wrong with…
Thank you :) As for the nicely done (filmed) NC scene, I already commented below that Rain doesn’t seem ready to go all the way yet and to me it feels pressured, especially for his first time.
I agree that a lot of BLs adhere to a strict seme/uke type vibe. A couple of exceptions:Bad Buddy showed Pran…
Don’t quote me on this, but from what I heard, the “ancestors” of BLs we are discussing had both guys totally “straight”, turned into “gay just for you” 🤣 Compared to that, these baby BLs are so down to earth! 😂
I could only think of KornKnock as one top-tier exception!
True, but then again - it’s an “older” generation of BL. See, that’s how young BLs are! 😂 I would love to see them in a BL more true to life, even though I fully understand that BLs are nothing like “true life” as they are a mix of Disney and p*rnhub 😂
Omgg Payu is trying to teach Rain (who is younger and is currently dropping everything to be around Payu and missing…
Also, it would momentarily drive me out of a relationship if someone required me to “prove” anything. At the same time, I would never want my partner to prove anything either. Where “proofs” start, partnership ends - for me, of course. Now, it’s ok to talk about my expectations from my partner, but without “you have to prove yourself”. To me, it should be just a calm declaration of what I need, and leave it at that. If the other person wants to adhere to my needs - great. If not - he’ll just “disembark” my boat, and it’s fine. Same is valid for his needs/my response. Again, that’s how I work, not necessarily how everyone should work 😉

Payu: I think we should stop seeing each other because of this one small thing you’ve done.
Adult: K, bye ✌️
Payu: 😳
