I agree with you on almost everything 🤩 the only thing I see differently is Rain saying “No” in the bathroom scene being a form of consent. To me, it’s a complete refusal to play the game. At least, it would be for me. But I am very different from Rain’s character and would never be interested in someone like Payu to start with 😸

I’m glad you have the super power to recognize PR schemes ‘cause I don’t. I don’t think Yoon needs to create a sympathetic image - he’s well liked by lots of people. So I will take a liberty to take it as an actual harassment that happened and I really hope that you don’t expect the police to ask a person who was assaulted about their finances to determine if they need help or let them just “wipe their tears with money”.
As for Yoon being a bad actor - that’s just your personal opinion, but it doesn’t warrant the degrading “couch” comment. It’s not funny and a lot of good actors actually went through this awful experience.

I honestly don’t understand the author - why put something like this in what’s supposed to be a romantic/sexy story? I mean, yes, it could happen in real life and if both are consenting - whatever, since there would be no suffering children as a result (obviously), but it’s a different type of story. Why insert it here? But then again - I don’t get some of those authors with their obsession with violence either… oh well… 🤷‍♀️

Yes, I think Ray’s character is very realistic and very well written. I can easily relate to him and he is my favorite character in the series 🤩

Yes, they are very melodramatic, full of cliches, squeaky clean with a kiss at the last moment of the last episode with lips barely touching 😂 But they are very popular just because they are still cute and production is nicely done. Basically, a total eye candy 😊
And in other Asian countries’ shows, K entertainment is always revered as something OMG awesome, so I am not surprised their “blueprints” are used all over the place 😉

Agreed, it’s a very lazy writing, but it seems to me that it really came as an exact copy from Korean hetero dramas where FL is an eternal damsel in distress who constantly trips over everything including her own feet. So ML just has to catch her, in a very unnatural manner at that. Then they stare at each other and their love story starts.
With BLs, especially the ones projecting m/f dynamic on a m/m couple (unfortunately, lots of them) you can pretty much tell early who’s seme - of course, the one doing the catching 🤦‍♀️ Sometimes, it’s not like that, but pretty rarely. Just my observations 😊

Ray is a very brave young man, a go getter. I mean, not everyone has guts to cross dress for their lover. With Jian, he can see that Jian is attracted to him (very much so), spends time with him, agreed to be his accomplice. So Ray, being straightforward, just went for it, and Jian responded to his kiss, “sealing” their relationship - in Ray’s point of view. Then, all of a sudden, Jian backpedals - why? Ray is really hurt since it’s yet another painful rejection to him.
Remember, even though he’s all brave - he’s a teenager with emotions running high on hormones, hence his reaction. Which to us, adults, seems like an overreaction.
Jian is older and calmer by nature. He understands that Ray is hurt, even though Jian really didn’t do anything wrong. So Jian, being wiser, and really liking Ray very much, is trying to mend the starting relationship.

I think it’s already special enough to have a 10 ep. show about nothing, pretty much filler stuffing. Maybe they could consolidate it into, say, 5 episodes and have it actually alive (more or less)?
