Can someone explain the slush fund thing to me? The way I understand it is, grandpa has been laundering money. He was afraid to go to jail so he tried to get his son or his grandson to go to jail on his behalf by putting the money under their name. But evil mistress wanted to gain grandpa's trust and said put all the money under my name, I'll go to jail for you, so he did.
Now both sides, mistress and Hong fam want to find the money. How does the money affect the stockholders from mistress's side? Isnt it BAD to find the money? the proof of the existence of this money means mistress will go to jail, no? I doubt mistress is really willing to go to jail. and the Hong fam, do they just want to find it before she does? or do they really want grandpa's money? Can someone pls shed some much needed light> <3 komawoyo.
I know there’s alot of CLOY references but did anyone catch the way HI waved bye to BHW outside their countryside front gate? similar to how Captain Ri awkwardly waved back at Yoon Seri in North Korea?
and I just rewatched episode 1 and during that interview, BHW remembers how she descended from the skies like an angel from her helicopter. it reminds me of when Seri and Captain Ri had to separate at the DMZ. she said don’t forget me and he says how can I forget a women who fell from the sky?? and she said no, I descended like an angel.
I thought y'all were just cry babies when you say you cry throughout but tell me why I'm here crying in the middle…
I try and explain to people who haven’t watched this drama how much I cry. then they ask me why?? is it sad?? and I just…. I can’t even explain it. it’s not just sad. it’s that…it’s that they love each other so much!!!
She probably recorded when she called him to talk abt his plan to trap BHW in malpractice.
I think he can’t think rationally when he’s talking to her. he wants her so badly at any and all costs and that’s where he slips up. episode 8 when eunsong and haein were talking at the gate after her divorce, he looked like he was about to divulge everything to her. he was telling her that she doesn’t need hyunwoo and all that she needs is him. it’s not until his mom pops in from down the road that he stops talking. it’s almost like his mom swooped in to stop him
I was enjoying the story line with Bong Seok, Hee Soo and Kang Hoon but once the flashbacks came, It became so…
I just finished this drama myself and I’m glad someone mentioned all the flashbacks. a few flashbacks for effect is okay but it just kept going and going. I’ve never had flashbacks that lasted EPISODES. That really wasn’t enjoyable for me. I ended up pulling through and finishing the entire thing. but for all the angst that happened throughout the show, that ending needed to have been a lot, LIKE ALOT better.
Hyunwoos prob getting a lot of heat bc HaeIn has a terminal illness so it’s much easier to side with her. we humans are empathetic creatures. I think anyone prior to the diagnosis would side with Hyunwoo after seeing how belittled he was in the queen family.
