Similar themes of the drama being about a woman's life. Very similar in terms of having a smart fl who rose up from a low situation and eventually become powerful. The family dynamics are similar as well. The whole ml being a general and close to the emperor was similar as well. The falling in love after marriage for the fl was also similar. Also, both of them were strong, smart fl.
