I'm glad that they're exploring the body-guard trope for the storyline. Can't handle anymore engineers or university…
Lol I agree with everything you said but that’s exactly why I love this show. It’s achieved new levels of bad that I was laughing every single second of the ep. I’m looking forward to this more than the other actually good shows I’m watching.
0 talent?? pfttttt..i bet you have a lot of talent
I know a lot of people like this show so if you disagree with my comment, just ignore it. I don't want to start anything. These are just my opinions!!!!!
The song of this series, is uncannily similar in terms of music, voice and arrangements, to in Life on The line.…
I think the guy who sang the themes song is the actor that played Mork's brother. Since life on the line is a Japanese show, I doubt it's the same artist
Well it’s over. I don’t think it’s going to be a long remembered series. I liked it more early episodes.…
Exactly my thoughts. It's literally just the same show with different characters. I was so confused when I saw the shippers crying and fainting over someone else's relationships. No one cares that much!

Where to start? The only good thing about this show is the theme song. That's it! The guy who sang it has a very beautiful voice. But while singing is his forte, he should really take a ton of acting classes before he acts in another series again.
In fact, every single actor in this show, except Mix, desperately needs serious training in acting. How is it that every single fkn character sounds like they're straight-up reading the script. While Mork shows absolutely no facial expression, everyone else is constantly overacting. I guess this is common for this type of genre, but damn this was especially bad. And not even the entertaining kind of bad. Just super annoying, cliche, culturally insensitive...
The main couple has absolutely 0 chemistry. Like they don't even seem like they like each other as people, let alone romantically. I could not stand the second couple. After the first few episodes, I would just skip every time I heard the narrator's voice. I remember the actor that plays the brother from when he was in Tonhon Chonlathee and he was cringy then and he still is now.
I never felt like I understood or connected with any of the characters. To be honest, I only watched the show because we're in a BL drought and I have nothing else to watch. And I was hoping for an Earth cameo in the last ep. This is just another example of how GMMTV gives absolutely 0 fks about the BLs they make. Just throw 2 handsome actors with 0 talent together and the fans will eat it up.
There was nothing original about this show, other than the fact that they're not engineers. GMMTV set the bar so low, I can't even be disappointed. I am praying that with the BL industry growing and there being more competition, they'll put more effort into these stories and casting actually talented actors instead of producing these vehicles for product placement masked as a drama.
I get that these actors are newbies but I can't take them seriously after these performances. I pray that gmmtv produces more shows like ATOTS instead of pumping out these embarrassing excuses of a show. I genuinely wish I could give a negative score on this site.
I feel like it went down the rabbit whole of 99% of bl series, where ppl don't really get held accountable for…
Exactly! When Teh invited Oh to watch his play, it showed that he still has no idea how his actions affect other people. I was okay with this in ITSAY because he was young and it's realistic for a high schooler to be that oblivious. But still in his last year of uni, he shows so little growth that I think he's incompatible with the mature man Oh Aew has grown to be. And because of everything that went down between them, Teh is likely to continue disappointing Oh in big ways. I was so happy that Oh had moved on with his life and he was pursuing his own dreams and I thought that was how the ep would end.
No disrespect but it’s been so long since I hate-watched a show and now I feel rejuvenated! When I say I was laughing the whole time, I’m not kidding. Like the entire time! I would like to applaud the writers for managing to fit every trope ever in the first ep. The acting, the story, the SCOREEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Had me dying! I had more fun watching this than shows I actually like. I am genuinely so fkn excited for the next ep and I thank the gods for allowing me to witness this masterpiece!
wow! I started watching this show because I needed something to tide me over till Wednesday for Lovely Writer. I thought it was cringey and I had no idea where the plot was going because it seemed like they were much more invested in making over the top "wacky" jokes rather than showing character development. The characters seemed 1 dimensional from the start with only some having even a drop of nuance (Mork is probably the only character that intrigued me and I was hoping to get to understand him better, but more screen time was given to characters that are complete caricatures with no depth at all). But I let it all go because I realize I'm not the target audience for this show and I tried to enjoy watching it lightly.
Then ep 4 hit and I am actually baffled by how they quickly managed to completely annihilate any faith I have in this show. It started off with the embarrassing portrayal of the fujoshi characters. Let's get this straight, these people are stalkers and are the exact prototype of why BL fandoms can be so toxic. They're forcing a ship on two people who have not consented to their interactions being publicized for their school and the internet to see. Pi literally had to hide in trash to avoid being harassed by them. Also it's disgusting to s*xualize/romanticize completely normal interactions between people and force a imagined relationship unto people. Watching it, I thought it was funny that GMMTV was basically making fun of their consumers my characterizing them in such an embarrassing way.
Lastly, and more importantly, the disgusting portrayal of Sikhs. I was so confused when that scene came on because it was completely unnecessary and had nothing to do with the plot. It's played off as a "wacky" joke, but I couldn't overlook it. I am not Sikh but I thought about how I would feel if I was just trying to enjoy a show and I saw racist caricatures of my people and I would've been so upset. Even now I'm upset that GMMTV thought it was okay to show this. It seems like the company has no intention to apologize or learn from this as there's enough fans that continue to support the show despite the racism. I've seen so many people on twitter and youtube defending their actions and I can't believe that this is still considered okay by some in 2021.
Anyways, I've obviously dropped the show. You vote with your dollar/time and GMMTV will only get the message when they see their Adsense drop. I don't recommend this show to anyone who cares about the problems listed above, but if you still want to watch the show, I would suggest pirating it and watching it on some other site. Otherwise, we're letting GMMTV get away with disrespecting other cultures and allowing this behavior to continue.
