omg yes! So I'm a diehard MaxTul fan but TWM s2 was nottt it. I think the same thing happened here because the production team decided to rely on the main leads' fandoms to carry the show instead of putting in the work needed to make the series good. You can decide for yourself once you hear from other people, but I'll tell you this season is not worth giving 12-13 hours of your life to unless something drastically changes with the production level (which I seriously doubt will happen). Perioooddd! LBC S1 is one of my favorite BLs just because AePete's relationship is the purest in all BL. But every time I watch it, I have to skip all other parts because KlaNo and Tar's storylines disturb me to the core. I can't believe people think KlaNo are cute and the whole situation is funny. Techno's brother should've called he police on Kla but instead everyone in the show brushes the whole thing off. I 100% agree that Mame has this sick obsession with abuse and rape in her stories. If she wanted to show the trauma and struggles rape victims go through, the tone would be completely different. If you've seen The Effect, that's a show that brings up these themes but uses a solemn tone so the viewer understands this isn't a cute, romantic thing. The problem is also that a lot of BL fans are young and I don't want these topics shown tot hem in the context of it being cute and rape being something some one does to you when they love you so much.

yesss! Tee's vision is what made season 1 what it is and he left because of "creative differences". I'm guessing MAME and the production team wanted to use this show as a money grab and Tee didn't want to be a part of that

okay thank you! After the 1st episode I was like let me just watch to support my boys but after yesterday, there's no way I'm spending any more time on this. It's actually insulting that the production team thought we would just silently take whatever they give us without complaint just because of MewGulf. I'll just catch the highlights on twitter

omg same! I mean it's not even fair to compare ITSAY with anything else because they just raised the bar to the heavens. But it's impossible for me to watch a masterpiece on Thursdays and then be expected to enjoy this embarrassment of a show on Fridays.
