I’m logging in to MDL for the first time in like 6 months just to write this comment. What a waste of money, time, and energy!!!! I actually read the novel and enjoyed it. What film school drop out director did they get to make this? I gave this a shot despite how bad ep 1 was but I just watched ep 3 and there’s literally no improvement. People kept saying it’s because they rushed to film this after the recasting but I’d rather they didn’t film it at all if they weren’t going to take the time to make it good. Even the spicy scenes which is what this show was supposed to being doing well, come off cringey. The story is all over the place with no established tone. It’s just so disappointing that they could’ve done so well with this concept but decided to make this nonsensical jumble of scenes with no payoff. Unless you’re okay with watching awful shows or you’re watching just for net James, i recommend y’all stay away from this one

seriously tho, i hope they take gap yuri seriously. Cuz i will faint if it's just a jumble of dumb tropes and over the top characters

watch season 1 and 2 but not 3

Yessss! I’m forcing myself to finish it but I’m not really invested in any of them. The only couple I was remotely interested in was broken up by the eliminations. I don’t know if this is a casting issue or because they didn’t give them daily challenges like the previous seasons, but I’m really disappointed

I’m also thinking of dropping it. KS was such a huge part of the show that now that he’s gone, the whole cast chemistry seems off. And the concepts of the ep since he’s left have been very relaxed and more heavy on talking, which makes the void KS left wayyy more apparent. I think I’ll hold on for a few weeks to see if things get better but it’s not looking really good.

Lee Kwang soo had my heart. I love him so much! And he was perfect for this role. Everything about this show is hilarious. The running man reference in the Kim Jong kook ep had me rolling

I think this show is extremely bad technically and story wise but I love it so much so I understand the high ratings. Like I’m enjoying this more than actually well produced shows.
