I like the ML and I'm glad to see him getting another shot after "Wedding Impossible". If the drama gods turn to look at us again, this show will be all the things we hoped for "Wedding Impossible" and didn't get.

XO Kitty was a show I put off watching for a long time, thinking that it was going to be a mashup that ended up being cheesy, but when I did watch it, I thought it was charming, I'm looking forward to the next season.

My thoughts exactly. It's sad when a drama starts out with some steam and some bite like this one, but then folds all that spice into fluffy sweetness. I know to expect it, but I hold out hope that a show will keep its edge all the way to the end. But nah. Again.

That scene has a lot of retakes, and I know if I was her, I'd've kept trying to get it right over and over again too.

All of these super short Cdramas are absolutely terrible. They never turn out to be what you were hoping they'd be--what their first half dozen episodes suggest they're going to be.

This show is also terrible, and it's short enough so I can watch it every few weeks to make sure I was right.

Your opinion is your opinion. No one here has said you can't have an opinion. Have any opinion you want. Have 8 of them. If you write your opinion in a public place, people are going to answer you. If your opinion is dumb, other people are going to criticize and embarrass you. If this is a problem for you, either inform yourself, get educated and then change your mind, or keep your silliness to yourself.

This is not an age gap of importance. We're not talking about children or very young adults. Both of the parties to this romance are over 30. There is some sexism going on in your thinking processes. Cling to sexist thinking if you want, but it's 2024, and this kind of thinking is dumb.

I'll have to wait until this wraps up airing. Cdramas have such shitty endings, lately.

Welp, that first episode is a bit of fiery nonsense. I'll probably have to watch it three or nine more times to, you know, make sense of it.

This is not a drama that's going to make you stop and think "wow, what a great drama that was", but it's charming for what it is, and a decent time pass while you're waiting for another drama to finish or your next great watch hasn't occurred to you yet. You probably won't need or want to re-watch it, but watching it the first time is not a bad choice.

Boy, that is some "Mission Impossible" level plotting, right there. Looking forward to season 2 when people show her how to vacuum!

Propaganda is ugly, and undisguised propaganda is the ugliest. If it doesn't make sense or is just sort of flopped into the story line to serve the interest of a government, the show is worthless.

Naked, bald propaganda is really distasteful, but this drama's producers (as well as other producers) no doubt have to make big concessions to the culture committee just to get their shows on the air so they can get their money back.

Also, at least the propaganda is directed at being unselfish and working for the benefit of other people beside yourself. In the States where I live, our shows are produced without propaganda as we have no censorship committees that have to approve, but our shows promote a free wheeling, greed is good, everyone for themself overview which is not doing any of us any good, either.

One of the best things about your editorial (and others like it, of course) are how they help to get us all thinking about how we each define "strong" when we're talking about women characters. There are so many useful points of view in these comments!

Gosh. I don't know what you think you're accomplishing with comments like these, but they're not saying good things about you. In a world like the one we're all living in right now, why add to the awfulness by being so mean?

The great thing about Jdramas of the marriage/romance genre is you can usually count on some mild kink, and this show is no different. It's weird and also a little wonderful.
