It’s a 7.8/10 for me. It was enjoyable and quite cute, and the humor was pretty good (the Goshiwon guy & Namju cracked me up). Could the story have been better? Yes. But overall, it was a fun watch :). And it’s worth noting that Song Seung Heon hit 49 but still looks the same :o. Lowkey is making me miss “My Princess.” Those were the days xD.
It was good, but it was just okay. It had a Misaeng vibe, but it wasn't really Misaeng. It was a law drama, but it didn't really meet the standards. The cases were portrayed in a different light and are quite unique, but I found them simple? Simple as in it did not convince me that these characters were actually that skilled or intelligent. And the politics that were happening was quite simple and surface-level as well. I guess to put it shortly, this drama has its good points and had a few things that kept me watching, but overall it lacked depth. Also the one thing that made me laugh laugh is sadly not the main story, which I think lacked humor, but all those promotions they put in and how they acted during those part xD.
OH MY GOD this is how i found out?! I freaking love I have a lover so much its my number one mature romance and…
Yeahhh! It's definitely the more mature romance/love that sets them apart from other dramas! 7 years later, and I still hold these dramas dear in my heart! So sad that she hasn't wrote a new drama. Her last one, "Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life" unfortunately didn't grip me like these two :(.
I love some of the characters and their little interactions so much. I loved the story at first, but then it became frustrating because some of the characters make such bad decisions T__T. The story tries to portray the characters as smart, but I wasn’t convinced that the characters were intelligent lol.
The amount of violence in this drama >__<. From the poster, I thought the story would have a constant serious tone, but it surprisingly have a lighthearted side.
10/10. I love this movie. War is terrifying, and I felt it through this movie. I feel bad for the people still in the middle of one T—T. In such a little time, I was able to sympathize with the characters. Everything was very well-made 👏🏻👏🏻.
It was a pretty boring movie. The humor didn’t make me laugh, and I found some part of the story cringey. Didn’t care for any of the characters either.
It got weird, but it's watchable because of the mysteries. But mysteries should be answered to make an interesting story, but it's just questionable things and characters and behaviors after another without any answers 💀. So there is this feeling that you watched it all for nothing?
If any of you are scaredy-cats like me, don't watch this lol. I couldn't sleep well for a few days because of this😂. The first 2 monsters are scary, and with just how mysterious the story is, it got me overthinking at night 💀.
Also, yeah, this story wasn't conveyed well, and there are illogical things here and there that didn't add up. I think a lot of things could be better, but I did end up liking a few of the characters. It gets makjang in Season 2 (I call it that because it just gets weird).
This show is a masterpiece <3. Best fighting scenes I’ve ever seen tbh. Like, sometimes I lose focus watching fight scenes. But out of the many in this show, each one was so creative and intense. I love the characters also, and the humor :).
I think I only enjoyed the first, episode 7, and the last ep lols. The story had potential and could have been much better. It felt like the scenes were repeating again and again. All they do is talk, then someone bleeds again unnecessarily. Nothing really moves forward. I just couldn’t sympathize much with any of the characters.
Hoping there’s a second season in the future :D. It felt like they were talking too much in the beginning, but I slowly started to like the characters, especially Sol A & Yangcrates. People say the story drags, but I found it to the point and brilliant. Also, Kim Myung Min is such a great actor 🥹❤️.
I loved it. I’ve been wanting to watch it since back then, and I finally did :). The story was great, acting was great. It was intense throughout. I’m not really a fan of Korean movies, and I’d have to say this one is the best one I’ve watched thus far.
I watched a few eps, but since the first ep, I found some of the characters’ personality/behavior obnoxious >__<. The humor wasn’t my type either. Summarizing this drama: weird people hang out together, emitting more weirdness.
I think it's worth the watch. But as people said, the quality went down at some point (I would say around ep 12…
Kingdom of Love 2 looked like such a boring show 😂 (the writers could have make it appear more fun). Also, someone tell me why Siwon looked sooooo sad the majority of the eps 💀.
I think it's worth the watch. But as people said, the quality went down at some point (I would say around ep 12 or so was when it became eh for me). I liked the premise of the story, but in the end, it wasn't carried out well. Lee Da Hee and Siwon do look good together though.
8.5/10. I really wanted to give this drama a higher rating, but I could not. This 2nd season failed to capture me like how the 1st one did. I love Hwang Shi Mok with all my heart. There was nothing bad about the story; it was good, but it wasn’t crazy good. Maybe my expectations were too high. Maybe Netflix’s inconsistent subtitles ruined my understanding of the story. Maybe I wasn’t as in the mood to watch kdrama as I was back then. Maybe I found the acting on this one a little too dramatic. Maybe the first time Hwang Shi Mok smiled on this season felt too forced. Maybe I couldn’t care less about Hanjo. Maybe the cliche phone interruption during conversations were getting too noticeable like my overuse of the word “maybe.” Nevertheless, I enjoyed this drama. I don’t think I’d rewatch this one, but I definitely would watch a 3rd season if it ever happens. Secret Forest will always have a special place in my heart <3.
For anyone who have not watched the 2nd season yet, I recommend you to rewatch the 1st season first. I realized that I had forgotten a lot of the things that had happened in the 1st season, and watching the 2nd season would have been more meaningul if I had remembered the 1st season from beginning to end.
