Hi there! Glad to see you here. I am fine thank you. To answer you, I have been watching less and less kdramas. Because there is less and less interesting kdramas during the week now. Probably a policy of the SK broadcasting channels. I was used to be here on MDL all week days but now I mostly focus on WE dramas. Actually this drama is the only one that I am following week in week out. Let's enjoy it alltogether.

Overall rating is bad but the drama is not so bad. It is funny and if you like food and cooking, it's even better.

I dropped Faith and I went to the end of moon lovers but I found it... nonsensical. I hope this one will be good.

Logically they cannot end together but let's see. Maybe the ending will surprise us in a good way.

To me the age gap of the two main actors does not really show on screen. The dynamic between them is good after ep1.

Not so bright but at least she is funny.

I tried it. The Philippine adaptation of this drama is a total failure compared to the original version.

You are trying to exempt CZ of any responsibility but you should stop with your "if" and just look at the facts. He is not the one who made the decision but he is the one who suggested the idea. He is the one who mentionned it and the chancellor and the king aligned themselves with his idea.

In law, if someone suggest his brother to steal a cake, the brother is the thief but that someone is the real culprit as he instigated the robbery. It did not matter the level of the award or the number of strikes, it was still his plan.

You are free to believe what you want to believe. Fact is he brought up the punishment Of XJ and the promotion of HY as a plan to create issues for them. If he did not mention it maybe the chancellor or the king would have taken different measure. You just do not want to admit the fact that he is the mastermind. Chancellor asked his plan and all this was his plan.

Chu Zhao did not have to ask. He just needed to subtly bring the idea up. His words to lighten sentence are just hypocritical. He knew once he suggested the idea, the chancellor and the emperor would consider it. It was his idea and he did not do that out of respect for fairness or for the military rules. He did that for himself. He wanted a wedge between HY and XJ so he can approach her and XJ would face discontentment and have a problem of legitimacy in his command.

His words were never to obtain leniency. He talked hypocritically to have XJ punished, HY promoted and himself appointed as a director of the ministry of war. All this advanced his own agenda.

No it is Chu Zhao's idea. He is the one who said XJ left the garrison in Yezhou without permission and needs to be punished for that and then he suggested that the other officer aka HY should be awarded so it creates a wedge and problem of leadership. He is not cooperating with them. He has his own manipulative agenda.

He knows his master embezzled money still he tags along with him suggesting and implementing the idea to promote HY and punish XJ by beating so he can sneak his way on her good side. This is not the doing of a fair man but I guess this will not be the first time in cdrama where the scheming SML ends up saving the day in the name of Love.

For me the brother is a psycho full of hate who enjoys the achievements of his sister. He deserves to be cut into pieces. Chu Zhao is not against the chancellor, he is using him for his own purpose. He is a dishonest guy using schemes and whispering ideas to serve his goals I do not know his past story but I do not like that he uses underhanded tricks to get what or who he covets.

This guy Chu Zhao is such a weasel. I hope he dies an horrible death even if I anticipate they will give him a hero death.

So she lied to trigger him into doing something to profit her plan. She sure is a good schemer...

Uninteresting cases resolved in cheap ways. Romance of leading couple is super bland. Even fat guy and cougar woman did better. Just people eating and eating and talking their cases in public place which is professionnally wong. Huge disappointment.
