Gosh the other two couples are just plain annoying. no offense. Imma skip everything about them.
In ep 7, FL asks the SFL "Are you in love AGAIN? " - "It's just a young man"- "HOW YOUNG is he?" Basically the SFL is described as a cougar and a handsome sexy young man-eater. She is obsessed by men's good looks. The plan is to make her change her predatory ways and really fall in Love with an innocent lost young guy with a nice body and talents to cook and clean who will take care of her. The setting is a bit lame and it has no connextion with the main couple. They really need to give complexity to these two characters because looking cute is not enough.
Third couple is a little more interesting. The woman is young, childish and silly. But there is more complexity here. Her dad the boss of her love interest and the guy will have to make a choice between her and the FL that he still likes. He is still rival to the ML even if their antagonism is quite funny. I expect character development from the doctor and that young immature heiress before they can be a couple.
So far these two couple are just comic relief that does not really work. Hope they can develop these two storylines or I will do like you and just skip the scenes.
Not the progress I wanted but is it relatable behind the sad situations.
Both leads look pathetic as they are unable to get over their respective break up but ok, it is not so easy. I did not like ML that much but he is nicest now taking time to help and support FL more than she asked. The chemistry betweeen them is getting better and better.
Nope, I'm enjoying it a lot too. He's cute, she's beautiful, and they seem like good people and have good chemistry.…
For me the dancer girl is harmless. She is just a silly rich spoiled heiress. She should not be a danger for the doctor. It is more likely that the doctor will hurt her because he can't have the one he wants and he will be with her without liking her because it's good for his future.
Am I the only one enjoying the swimmer and girl boss couple??? I feel like I've seen comments here that they don't…
It's so unrealistic and cringey.
Cougar boss vice general manager woman lusts on young muscular man three hours after hitting him with her car. So she brings him food and wants to hire a curator for him then finally takes him to live with her because he has no one and she is so worried he always hurt himself so she lectures him like she is his mom but then he turns into her house cleaner and her cook. He is so effective he does both jobs on one leg. That must be the epitome of cuteness.
Is this being in a relationship? The speed that middle aged woman litterally grabbed that young man and put him in her appartment is creepy and so unromantic. She does not look like she has romantic feelings. She looks like she needs a man to take care of her needs. Plus who goes live with someone they met two days before? Is that cuteness again?
But ok, let's see where it goes from there. Probably the writers will make it a great noona romance.
when you grow up and understand that the authors can write whatever they want? there is no justice in the world.…
Of course they can write that "in the end Howard the duck arrives from space and gives everyone candies made on planet Saturn". But it would be a shitty ending isn't? People have some sense of justice and moral and they do complain when a show they invested money, time and energy in just has a stupid annoying unjust confusing ending in the name of butterflies rainbows and unicorns.
Judging by the comments here, it looks like I made the right decision of dropping this drama.
Same here. I put the the show on hold thinking I will binge watch to the end after ep16 is aired but It will probably not be the case considering the final feedbacks on the ending. Too bad I had expectations for this drama.
Im still confuse why the old man calls SY "His Majesty". Also, why do you think Chief Eunich betrayed LS when…
Maybe Shi Yeol has royal blood too? The guy is full of surprises.
Chief Eunuch betrayed young Lee Seol for money. He is an opportunist. Now Lee Seol is a grown up man and the King is a tyran that a group of people wants to remove. It is wise for him to keep Lee Seol safe. Maybe there is something for him if he can help them removing the tyran and he has the 'true Lee Seol" card in his hand.
But Lee Seol should never trust that snake hissing between his teeth.
He is cornered. His mom, left state counselor, Mokinhoe, they will put pressure on him. Plus he went to the Queen…
The drama likes to use red herrings and lure people into wrong understandings and then new twist... But ok it's intriguing and it does not look messy.
I hope they will tell the identity of the watchman who saved young Lee Seol and if Shi Yeol killed Heung Joo's fiancé. It would be frustrating if they do not.
There are hints at the fact that Shil Yeol killed master Jang's son. But there are also hints saying it is not…
Jang Ta Hwan's son was fatally injured already. I think the final blow scene was just to show Lee Seol's magnanimity when his enemies will stop at nothing and the watchman had to be alert.
The fiancé was not a bad guy but he followed his orders blindly. He died doing his job and watchman killed him doing his duty. If Shi Yeol really likes Heung Joo, he does not need to step down. It mostly depends on her reaction but is probably hard to live with the man who slained the man you loved even unknowingly. She would be remembered of it everyday.

Maybe. I read theories about the leader of the royal guard or merchant Kim but I did not suspect that guy. It's a good theory and consistent with the fact that Shi Yeol said to the kids he trained there and that guy is his master.
Maybe after saving young Lee Seol, the watchman sent him to a noble family and went to the temple train new watchmen and he went with his best pupil 8 years later to find Kang San.
But then there is still the whole mystery of Shi Yeol meeting his worst day a long time ago...

I can understand it but I think it was risky. The fact that she was atttacked by the watchman and she told that she previously met him and was threatened by him, was good enough. Designating someone to play the role facing soldiers was too much. But ok, maybe it was the whole plan to save Dan Oh.

Probably cuteness like beauty is also in the eyes of the beholder.
