About the cheating he should have dumped her at the first evidence of cheating. How could he accept such a toxic situation for such a long time. Or did she confessed she cheated on him and he let it slide then she broke up to marry the other guy? To think she sent him a marriage invitation? lol. So cruel.

He is too soft and naïve. Like the FL says, how can he be a CEO? 😊

Two of the three kdrama I recently completed were not happy ending but no sad either so I was fine with them. Among the airing kdrama or the ones to air in March (in my radar) , I think the most risky ones to have an unexpected sad ending are Our Blooming Youth and Oasis. But I will watch them anyway.

I think it will be a happy ending but lots of hurddles to cross before it happens.

The ML looks weak as a person. Who lets his gf cheat on him for a year? No wonder his ex did what she did to him. And now she is stalking him? FL always looks in a contradiction between what she says and what she does regarding the ML... One week of waiting now.

Good balance of fun, company schemes and emotional moments in EP4. It was enjoyable.

She has a caring side but also a stubborn reckless side.

lol. This ep was good with some sharp, fun dialogues despite the cumbersome situations.

Step siblings is a general term that usually designate the children of one's stepparent from a previous relationship, but it does not bind legally. It is mostly social and cultural conveniences, and people are not forced to accept it. They can just cut ties like the FL and her siblings did with her father and his new wife.

If the wife (ML's mom) adopted legally the children of her husband, the children become adoptive siblings. But she was not in a position to do it because the FL and her siblings cut ties, they still had their mother who was their legal mother and even if she passed away, they would not agree to an adoption by a woman who stole their dad away.

The other possibility would be that the husband (FL's biological dad who married ML's mom) adopts legally her son the ML. In this case, since the husband is still legally FL's and her siblings' legal father; they are adopted siblings as per the law. They become foster brother/foster sister, adoptive brother/adoptive sister, stepbrother/stepsister. And yes, in this case, things get complicated.

But it is not the case (so far). ML and FL can freely enter in a relationship. Agree it is not ideal that he is the son of the skank who stole her dad away but the children do not have to pay for the mistakes of the parents and Love can always find its way.

The mistress or more exactly the new wife gets the house because their dad put the deed of property under her name without the three siblings knowing.

I have been watching kdrama for a while but I am still hoping to be surprised. This drama has a super tropey set up but who knows. I am also wondering how they will keep the audience interested for 16 eps with these tropes "disapproving parent" , "best friend who loves me" , 'ex wants to reconnect" and "former associate back for revenge" plotlines. I really hope it won't disappoint.

ML's biological father is one of the three men his mom married before she married FL's biological father. ML is a grown-up man, so it is likely that his dad was his mom's first husband.

FL's biological father became her 4th husband. That 4th husband is not ML's stepfather legally. Because he did not adopt the ML as per the Law before his death (I assume as this can become important). He had no legal parenting rights on the ML and ML does not bear his last name and would not inherit from him. Legally they are strangers.

ML and FL's biological father may have never met. I suspect ML was an adult before his mom married him and ML left to live by himself and he never had any detail of that man's former life. ML looks pained by his family’s past. He must have a grudge or something between her mom and her different new husbands gave him a sad experience.

We will know more tomorrow hopefully.

I don't know what lawyers in the Joseon-era were actually doing but the trailer looks good.

It will be complicated because the skank who married four times and kicked her out of her family house will play roadblock in her life but she will have to consider her son too. You can choose your husband but you cannot choose your mother in Law.

They are not step siblings. Legally, they were never legal child of a common parent. In the eyes of the Law they are strangers to each other.

Socially and culturally, the fact that her father abandonned her and her family to marry a new wife does not make her a step daughter and the new wife her step mother. It's a matter of social convenience that nobody can force her to accept.

It is like a widower with kid who marries a new wife and she does not adopt his kid but the kid has to call her mom and treat her as such. No sorry. The kid has no obligation to obey the social conventions.

Plus in this case, her father died so the social "step" link is dissolved. They have no social obligations binding them and nothing to do together socially speaking. This is the interesting part of the story. How will they treat each other now that FL will (probably) be in a relationship with the ML?

That Ba Da or another character or myself or any viewer forgives her is a matter of opinion. She escaped unscathed from her wrongdoings; this is a matter of fact.

Ba Da lost so much because of EK and EK lost nothing. There is nothing that EK had before she started her schemes that she lost after her schemes. On the contrary Ba Da lost almost everything and had to rebuild her life with her own hands and abilities.

When you consider this, it is obvious that EK got away with it too easily. That's a fact. Her so called punishing herself was a joke.

I definitively prefer the vibe, the humour, the plot and the dynamic of ep10. But I consider myself warned by ep9. The writers can do anything like torturing the leads, forcing the FL to marry, make them fight each other...

Very draggy and useless ep7. This drama suffers from telling and talking too much and showing not enough. Hope the next eps will be really better than this one.
