I am ok with him being a thug with a variable moral compass because this is what it used to be in South Korea in the 80s. The politicians, the nationalists, the military... they would use gangsters to do the dirty work. The gangsters were not all cutthroats. But they did what they were paid to do. At least the character is realistic.

Doo Hak is too nice. He is in the wrong line of work, but he is still doing that work willingly so he should not find excuses for himself when he does bad and illegal things. It is too easy to say he has no choice but to be a thug since he is an ex-convict sentenced for murder.

I just hope he will do better from this situation.

I like his sister. She is a little bit silly but she is a cute sister and she also have convictions. I hope nothing bad will happen to her.

Since the very beginning when they saw her at the parade, he noticed her and then started to gather info about her and he talked Doo Hak into competing with him for her. If most friends could do that at the beginning, when things became serious, he did not do what a friend should do. To back off and respect their feelings and leave them together. On the contrary he was more and more obsessed to make her his woman. It is like he will not renounce and present it to Doo Hak as a new competition between them.

If that attraction exists it should work in both ways. I do not think the "younger brother" has that attraction for his hyung.

The guy gave his second son to them as a baby for them to adopt and then he gives 4 years and the future of his first son to them to save them. Unworthy father.

I hesitated a long time before starting this because of the unflattering comments and the low rating. Now that I cached up with 6 eps, I also have mixed feelings about it. This drama looks like an old drama of the years 2000 with far-fetched situations especially in the family ties and relationships. Also, the mix of romance, comedy, politics, and gangsters is disconcerting. I like the romance, the politics, the family issues, the friendship and the rivalry but I don't like the comedy and grotesque bad guys that makes things unrealistic or the romanticization of gangsters and violence. Maybe it is me because I expected something more serious and tragic like Snowdrop or Youth of May.

But ok, I will keep watching because I am still curious about the lead characters and because things will evolve throughout a long time span.

The starting idea is no new but it can trigger a fun drama.

Quite an old movie now but it is a really fun and entertaining one.

2521 had two timelines and soon it was quite obvious that the ending would not be the one expected. It was even blatantly teased halfway of the drama. I don't think this will end like 2521. I hope it won't.

Waiting for the confrontation between the two mothers. Hope WJ's mom got stronger.

CEO Shin barged in DJ's office with a leaflet of a 2022 fair he was ready to launch so I think the setting is 2022.

The guy behaves like he is upset by her meddling with DJ but he is disarmed by her being so up front with what she does and what she feels. He does show symptoms of jealousy but best friends can be jealous too. Not only lovers. He looks threatened and hopeless because she has a more special man in her life now.

Confirmed 100%. She made no mystery she likes him in the following ep.

It's a little bit mushy but as a hopeless romantic, I am enjoying it. I have the feeling CP liked her since the beginning and quickly gave her a special treatment. Their "cohabitation" required them to conciliate their differences, but this made him just fall more and more for her as she was always a woman in his eyes. As for her, I liked that she went to him by necessity and that she did not like him at first. Then she had a change of heart that looks hasty but still believable and not out of character.

If this was a cdrama, pretty sure she dies in the end. But because it is a kdrama maybe it will be happy ending...

They were sometimes ruthless and quite extreme in S1 but at least they made their choices. I understand that they cannot keep on doing that but what they do now is not better. They do not send the bad guys to the police and leave them to kharma but things could become worse as they leave loose ends. These bad people are left unattended like the guy who became crazy or they are killed.

It is like after doing what they think is good enough for their "client", they wash their hand of the consequences of what they did to the bad guys. They are not responsible anymore.

It would say it is about time. There are only 6 eps left. Now the evil guy knows. Sergeant is on the verge to know. Myung Jin will know too. They will all be on the same pag. Then we will see how they act about it : ugly schemes, division, betrayal... I hope the remaining eps will develop many things around it.
