I like that they were quickly fond of each other despite the mystery and the misunderstanding on the identity. Now we know why she was drawn to him and not to the two other guys and why he was so protective of her and jealous.

Shi Yeal really does not strike me as a watchman. He is too playful flirtatious and he likes to tease San regarding Dan Oh and Yoo Ha. I cannot see him as a young warrior playing bodyguard. I would be very surprised if it is the case.

Watchman is probably the guy who came to help Kang San at the temple. He had impressing fighting skills and these two clearly knew each other. I am expecting a showdown between him and the Jang guy.

Lots of progress in ep8. Love the main couple and the side couple is cute too but I need to know more about their mystery connection. The bad guys are horrible. Can't wait to see their head roll but I guess it will take some time. Glad we are entering in a new phase with a new dynamic.

Yes his personality is rather cold probably because of the harships he went throught and he needed to hide his identity to protect himself and others. The mystery was quite well done.

So far I would say:

Yooha is Lee Seol : 70%
San is Lee Seol:24%
Chiyeol is Lee Seol: 1%

If I take that poor kid escaping after the death of his father and seeing so many deaths on his road, I believe the story that he was adopted and became a scholar involved in politics hidding his identity and living in the guesthouse of the girl who helped him. It is more plausible. Or maybe too obvious.

I hardly see that kid raised to take the military exam and enter the palace all by himself. San seems to be a lonewolf with no support. Agree about the sickbed comment but if San is Lee Seol, why give her the lid of the compass now and endanger her? To me it is more logical if Yooha gave it to her as a way to take her from San.

As for Shiyeol he is too much of a carefree man and there is too many mysteries about him. Not only the men who have his back but also his connection with Heung Jo's dead fiancé. If they met, the fiancé was already a soldier and he was probably just a kid. How could he be drinking in a tavern? Why he would say that day was the worst for him? Pretty sure the second watchman in ep7 is the one who saved Lee Seol. Plus Shiyeol has a crush on the fiancée of the man he met? Strange coincidence.

Le'ts hope for more clues tommorow but I agree with you that the mystery should be resolved so the story can go to a new step.

I agree they probably have many surprises in storage for us... Tommorrow is only halfway of the drama.

Yes it is kind of confusing the way it was said and it is a translation too. The drama likes to give misleading hints so maybe this time it is one too. But so far San does not give me vibes of a prince raised to hid from the King. Let's see tommorrow if we know more.

Shiyeol looks like a carefree guy with the reputation of being a random son of some nobleman. I can't picture him as a heir on the run or else it means that a whole group of backers have invented a perfect lie for him to live quietly and have a lot of fun.

Yes maybe tommorow's ep will give more clues.

Shiyeol, San and Yoo Ha are all scholars of the same age. So Shiyeaol cannot be the watchman who killed Jang's son years ago when Lee Seol was a teen on the run and he does not disclose the abilities and character of a watchman who is supposed to follow and protect Lee Seol.

Maybe San is the son of the watchman ready to take his father's trade? He looks like an apprentice. Ep7 suggests they know each other.

Shiyeol is too much of a playful guy to be Lee Seol. I doubt a kid around 10yo traumatized by death and exile would grow up into a carefree player. Plus his crush on the older sister and the fact that he apparently met her fiancé ... he does not have the profile for me. But who knows. The show can have new surprises.

Yuu Ha is probably Lee Seol as he is involved in politics and the head of kisaengs seems to know him as the son of a "prince". Also Kang San acknowledged to Dan Oh he is the watchman but he must not be the watchman who killed Jang's son, the fiancé of Dan Oh's sister.

So far it is not that direction...

So they are done with the secret identity now? Good progress. Or another twist incoming?

I would not mind if he only tricked his clients to achieve his goals but the guy assaults an innocent guy just to steal his clothes . He needs to change some of his ways.

KHS is not a lawyer. He is a rogue. How can he resort to illegal means to obtain what he wants and he only takes the case because it advances his own agenda. Ok, he is funny but damn... that's not to be an agent of the Law. So Won is an interesting character but the actress is not comfortable with the role. She is not very natural in the comedy parts. Still it is interesting and fun.

I was disappointed that ML just left the FL when she said they could not see each other anymore. But probably he knew he could not change her mind and he needed time to do something. So even if he was sad and depressed I liked that he tried to find his mother and that allowed him to put his hand on the will.

Fingers crossed the two last eps will be good.

She is so annoying. She jumped to conclusion and slapped her sister for a wrong reason based on her own stupid behavior. Then she made it looks like it was because Woo Joo was dating that woman's son?...She wants to step up as the oldest now but why force others into her choice? Escaping the situation is not a responsible attitude plus Dong Jin is better than all the guys she dated. I hope she does not end up with the best friend. She irks me.

They are all prejudiced against the ML just because of his mother. That's really unfair because they used to know him and had appreciation for him. But suddenly it is like he became a monster. Maybe they think an apple does not fall far from the tree but this would apply to them too. Maybe they don't want to be reminded of all the past hardship this is why the older sis is trying to force a clean sweep for the whole family.

I don't understand why the FL decided that they could not see each other anymore. Is she so afraid of disappointing her family? She should have tried something but she just capitulated. Lucky ML found the will.

Why this turn of events. FL is so out of character now. It is not like she committed a crime. Why her family meddles with her relationship? The sister is so annoying trying to play older sister the wrong way. Ep 14 was uselessly draggy with too many "I'll tell you later" and nothing happening. Will see the end of it though.
