Maybe you are right and "middle-aged man" designate a range of ages in a culture and another range in another culture. Some asian language do not even use the word middle-age but expressions like 'neither old nor young" or "halfway of life"... Cant' wait to know how old the two characters are in the drama.

I am really not into old cow eat young grass stories. I tried Marn Bang Jai for the two lead actors. I will try this one for the two leads also. But it is definitively not my cup of tea this is why I am not watching Crash Course in Romance despite its good rating and feedbacks.

The only lakorn I watched with age gap was Marn Bang Jai and it was terrible. Hope this one is better.

I am not excusing any predator behavior. What you think is your opinion based on your own moral compass. What I say it the Law. If you defame a 40yo man for dating a 18yo woman when she is consenting, the Law will not punish him or her. It will punish you. Just know it.

Honestly I watched the "normal" trailer not the "poetic" one and there is no age gap on screen. I don't understand this synopsis or are they trying to sell us a love story between a 18yo woman and a 40yo man but they both look in their 20s because it would be too shocking to make them actually look 18 and 40?

In China the majority age is 18. There is no psychological or expereince test to become legally adult. So a 18 years old girl who enters in a relationship with a 40something years old man is authorized. She is leaglly responsible of her own choice.

If she is not aware of who the other person really is then it's her own problem. It could happen to a woman in her 20s or 30s... It is up to them to elavuate and to decide. I am just saying if they take a wrong decision to date a sexual predator or a serial killer, it's their failure as adults. You cannot put it all on the man. Consenting adults are adults.

The range is 40 to 60 but what is common is they have belly and grey hair. This guy here has the body of a gymnast and not one single grey hair. Jerry Yan is 46 but I am wondering what age his character has. By the look of it, I would say around 30.

He does not look like a middle aged man either. He looks like one of these rebellious penniless 20something dudes from the 80s with an haircut and a tape recorder belonging to the Bee Gees.

I really like her in this drama. It was a good. I will try this just to see her again.

When the girl is 18 and the guy is above 40, love also comes with money. Leonardo DiCaprio told me that.

Dating in the kitchen the guy looked so cadaveric when she was so pretty. Plus her bubbly personality really clashed with his old fashion precious style for me. I could not believe in it and dropped the drama.

I have watched the trailer of this one. OMG. They call this a middle aged man? The ML looks like one of these rebellious guys in their 20s living in the 80s. I know no man around me who is a middle aged man and has this body shape.

The couple looks really fine on screen.

Don't think that when it happens, the girl is always so innocent. She also has her share of the trade.

Another old cow eat young grass story under the pretence of Love?

The three first eps were not that because of lengthy introductions and little things happening between the two leads but things are taking a shift as from ep4. It is really crazy and fun.

I remember watching him in "What happens in my family". The guy was so young and skinny and his acting skills were ... "developping". I liked Happiness and I like him better now. He is more natural. I trust him as an actor but I hope this drama is good because even good actors can't save a bad writing.

I am halfway into ep3 and I am really struggling to keep watching. I like the FL. She is a complete nutcase and she should be rotting in jail now but she is the fun of the drama. ML is bland... his agent is more interesting than him. I really don't see the point of the drama because there are too many characters that are not interesting and after 25% of the drama, I have not been hooked by the lead couple. Maybe I will put this on hold and wait for more feedbacks see if I resume watching it or not.

After four years he is not promoted and he is still single. Maybe this is kharma. But I found him changed. Affable, smiling and more sympathetic. It is an open ending that applies to him too. His ex is going to marry. It will motivate him to move on with his own life.

That means she gave her body to him to thank him for loving and pursuing her all that time but after that there is nothing left between them.

But at least she did not sleep with stupid snake KP for real. lol. Yes it was harsh on the SML but at least it made him focus back on what is priority for him.
