I was looking at the MDL's calendar. It must be wrong.

That part is strange. Why he suffered 3 years without finding a cure? Why he did not even investigated the origin of the medicine sent to him all this time? Why he refused to take that medicine?...

Bu Yeon said she sees something wrong with his body but he would hide his situation. Why he keeps all this for himself?

I guess it is between him and So-i.

I am not sure being born under the King's star means you will be or you have to be King. I don't sense that ambition by Jang Uk. He is too free spirited for that. Plus CP is King's lineage too. He has his place in the order of succession.

That King thing does not bother me much. It is rather his attitude towards Jang Uk and the fact that he is always entangled with FL.

He is a real grey character. He can be friendly and funny but he is very aware he is CP and he would behave like one : be arrogant, scheming to protect his position even if it means turning a blind eye to the bad deeds of his former master Jin Mu who pretends he works for the CP's interests.

The rivalry vs Jang Uk is inevitable and growing up. But in the end he willmake the right decision to side with Jang Uk.

It has been three years. I don't know how long a soul shifted in another body can survive without running wild but should not take long now...

I suspect she will turn wild and try to soul shift again.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder but I agree she is missing a good drama.

From the get go Naksu is the number 1 public enemy. She navigated her boat to survive the dangers and traps and changed as smart and scheming Mudeok. Then new failure but she was saved to be a daughter of Jin now. If her identity is revealed to everyone, sh_t storm will happen but she will not escape unscathed as she won't be allowed to live as Nasku.

I can't imagine a happy ending with her living as Naksu. Even if it is possible everything will be cleared. The bad guys are beaten and it is revealed Naksu was manipulated by Jin Mu and she is pardoned by the King. Not likely for me but who knows. Only 6 eps to go. Hope it does not end all messy on nonsensical.

Technically it is a replacement of actress but in the story it is no change of FL. It is always the same female lead character. But it is the change of appearance of a same character Naksu present in different bodies.

Chemistry is mainly in the dialogues and how the characters in their individuality and complexity echoes to each other. And this part 2 manages to do this pretty well and the chemistry is sizzling.

The changes are as logical as it can be considering the fantasy genre. Naksu was a cold and cheeky assassin. She became fun, scheming and blunt as Mudeok. Now she is Bu Yeon and she is more innocent because of amnesia but she is direct and cute. For me, looking at the things since the very beginning, the changes make sense and it is enjoyable so far.

This is part 2 and the continuation of the story. If you stop at part 1 it would be like stopping right in the middle of the bridge. Part 2 is well made so far and the transition is smooth. The (re)connexion between the two leads is well crafted with great a chemistry between them. Now I hope the rest will be good too. Fingers crossed.

You can wait for part 2 to end airing and then reconsider watching or not. Me I can't wait to see next ep.

Agree they should develop some plot and add some good swordplay and killings. There is only 6 eps left...

I do not mind that he accuses others or points fingers at them when he has the worst shortcomings but slapping people in front of everyone? When he is doing everything wrong and failed his family? Seriously?

There was nobody with them when they made their plan so the most likely thing is that Park Jin knew about the existence of that artifact. After all in part 1 he asked the help of Jinyowon and Jin Cho Yeon using the Gwygu dog to unmask an hidden soul shifter. Maybe as lead of Songrim he used to have infos on what artifacts exist in Jinyowon.

If it is true it would mean somehow he is manipulating her... I don't think he would do that even if it is to protect her.

He and Park Jin plotted the whole thing beforehand the night Park Jin said to him he should protect his wife and they decided to eat dumplings. This is why the next day he went to find Bu Yeon and asked her to trim her fingernails so Park Jin can go convince Mama Jin and they feed the artifact while Uk would go meet Bu Yeon at the banquet and inform her.

Serves him right. The uncle has no manners.

I like that Uk is moving on and falling for someone "new" after three years. So I don't mind they are dragging it.
