It is different. Naksu's body had no soul anymore and it was burnt in public for everyone to see and the fire turned her into ashes. Jang Uk was in a box and his soul was inside and he had the power of the ice stone which protected him from burning.

The Ice stone can bring dead people back to life. It can bring back the soul of a dead unborn girl. Maybe it can bring back the body of a wandering soul?

We always knew Jang Uk loved Naksu. He got used to MuDeok's face and thought this Naksu and this face, he could have them next to him forever but now he lost her. It is not a bad writing. On the contrary. It is rather logical. I like JSM too but the show is still good for me.
