Ratings and popularity do not mean the drama is good and entertaining or not. I dropped 2521 and I never watched Our BLues and I really enjoy watchign this one so far.

The wooden flute was not a testimony of love SML made for her and gave it to her. It was his stuff and she asked him for it because she liked it so it became hers. To say that she carried it as a proof that she loved SML is a stretch.

But ok, you are entitled to see it the way you want. Everyone can have his opinion.

I am barely saying it is better to not watch this as a romantic story with love triangles to resolve. The real things to resolve are who are the villains, how to stop them and how she will face the curse of being a soul shifter.

If she really loved him she would not have sent him away upon knowing he is mage family. Then she became an assassin killing mage people without caring about him anymore.

Now she is in cahoots with Jang Uk to get her powers back and do what she has to do. She said many times she liked SML when it was clear it was a scheme for the sake of her master. She acknowledged herself it is not true and hoped SML would not believe it. And he doesn't.

The FL is a wandering soul in a host body in quest of revenge and then she will go to the afterlife like she should. People who look a this like a romance where some guys are in a competition to woo a girl to win her heart and marry and live happily ever after are bound to a huge deception.

I think Buyeon aka Mu Deok is active. She is doing some important parts but she let Nak Soo take the initiative. She is not an action person. She detects and manipulates energy like the ice stone. This is why she is able to intervene in soul shifting.

Nak Su has no time for wandering and climbing trees and playing flute with a lover. She is a soul shifter now. She will be ejected from Mu Deok/Buyeon's body. She needs her powers back to avenge her family and in best scenario find a suitable body and a way to not run wild. No time for romance as the clock is tickling for her.

Thanks for this. There was no magic, not swordfights or no action "good guys vs bad guys" in ep9 but I enjoyed the ep as a quieter one but with the introduction of new interesting characters, a new level reached for Jang Uk and our main couple's relationship tightening.

But I also fear that Nak Su/Mu Deok entering Songrim will turn the story into "palace plots" between different sides. Hope today's ep will have more pace than plots.

Nak Su and Jang Uk have a complex relationship. They are master/pupil, maid/master, comfortable good buddies teasing each other, parties in an agreement to help each other to reach their respective goal... But it is also true that they have affection and care for each other beyond all these different kind of relationship. They don't want anyone to break this particular bond they have. Can this bond called be Love? Maybe not but they sure have a peculiar liking for each other.

This is why Jang Uk wanted to protect her in Ep9 by accepting to be away from her but she would try to be next to him. She has no interest in disrupting his mage learning. There are powerful masters and servants in Songrim who can train and serve him better than her and he will become powerful fast enough for her to regain her power with his help. But she want to be next to him...

I think Yul's and Naksu's relationship is just Yul stuck with his former feelings for teen Nak Su. He should confront Nak Su in Mu Deok's body regarding what she did and what she intends to do and fight her. He is like someone waiting for a train which is long gone already. Nak Su has no intention to marry and live happily ever after with anyone at this stage.

Yul is a mage and he has mage duties. But because he is stuck with his one sided love for a teen girl years ago, he thinks he found her again but she is different now. Naksu has become a ruthless killed and a soul shifter wanted by the Mage order and she is now scheming to achieve a personal goal. She doesn't really care about him. In fact she is even disrespectful to him saying she likes him when it is not true and they both know it.

Yul has another destiny. He will play a determining role apart from this so called love triangle.

I like the new Heo girl. She seems to be a good person. Jang Huk made things clear to her that he is not interested. She don't seem the kind to scheme in order to have what she wants but let's see.

It would be disappointing if this drama turned into a love triangle when it has potential to be so much more.

It is because it already happened that the public opinion on an ongoing drama influenced the final outcome. This is why there are people who like to play this game. They think if they voice themselves loud enough they can change the opinion and decision of the writers...

He is a mage and he knows what Nak Su means for mages. But yes he is too nostalgic of his first Love to the point he is acting against his own order. So far I have sympathy for him but he needs to wake up soon.

Agree too many characters pining for the ML and same for the FL but when the chips are down... they will all do what they have to do. At least, it is what I hope...

I also find her quite likeable so far. I liked her scenes with Jang Uk. She could pass for his soul mate but no... she is probably not. Poor her.

I regret that he is not asking himself the right questions. He knows she is Nak Soo, his old crush and the highly skilled assassin all the mages were chasing after. He shoud ask himself why she is still alive? What purpose does she has? Why she is a maid for Jang Uk? Why she is siding with him? What she wants to achieve... ?

Instead he is stuck with his former feelings and he is watching the grown up soul shifted version of his first Love chasing after another guy and having a purpose he does not know.

I feel bad for him but I would not call him bland. I think he is deluded and neglecting his mage status. He needs to gather his sh!t together so he can do what he considers is right. Probably it will happen soon. I hope it will.

Seo Yul is the most pitiful one because he knows she is his old crush and he knows that she knows who he is but she looks more concerned about her master Jang Uk. She said she loved him and she said it again but he is not someone you take for a fool. He knows well she is just saying anything for the sake of her master.

Sorry my mistake. I think that one is a little gangster who used to know Mu Deok and bully her and steal from her probably this is why she called Mu Deok someone who stole from her but she has Mu Deok's hair ribbon.... She has unfinished business with Mu Deok but I don't think it is too serious matters.

I don't think she is a real villain. She is a gangster surely and she has business to deal with Mu Deok but I don't hink she is after her for something huge.
