He knew she had a bf. When she was a student he visited her and she said she just started dating. I guess he thought he could surprise her and if she is alone, he could try his chance. Sometime being in a one sided love make people deluded and reckless. When he saw them together he just woke up from his delusion and decided to ghost her, to bury his feelings and accept the fact that she has someone else in her life.

They were studying together, living together, sleeping together, betrothed to each other and he let all this slide because she is among people who really love her for who she is when she does not even know who she is? Mister, your loss is another one' s win... maybe.
Why do some people say ML is a badly written character and he is childish? I can relate to him. I am wondering why he went to the USA and tried to meet FL by surprise or stalk her secretly? Were they on bad terms? Why did he just not say he is in the USA and wants to meet her and her bf to have barbecue and good fun together? Agree they loved each other and lived a nice love story from their encounter but when the difficulties happened, they drifted from each other because she became nagging and he became impatient. And all by themselves, couples tend to find the wrong answer to their problems. Overall I think the ex is a good guy and he gave up too easily. He just let the other guy alone in a race to win the princess and the trophy. But ok, not sure that guy will succeed either.
Very enjoyable 10th ep. Dunno why ML was beating himself about how he did not get the signals but after that... he really managed. SFL is so great. She skipped the blaming step and just behaved like a friend even if it hurt her. SML looks like a nerdy single dad but he is wise... and my third couple is back! A very good ep.

I have more sympathy for him. She was wrong from the beginning. Hiding something as serious as cancer from her family, her friends, her BFF, the ones who love her and care for her, it was wrong. Family and friends and lovers are supposed to go throught the hardships of life together. Hidding her situation from the people who love her was not helping them or saving them from worries. It just meant "I do not count on you in my life".
She let the burden on her bf's back to endure and overcome the situation. So I undertsand that he lost patience and had harsh words after she nagged him just because he went to a party. Couldn't she be more understanding?
They are only humans and they have their weakness but him going to SK to start up again shows that he has real feelings for her. He knows his mistake and she is important for him. I feel sad for him because what she went throught apparently managed to kill the feelings she had for him. She would not give it a second chance althought she knows the situation back then was "special".
To me she is stubborn and she has not pity for the ML also. She is still hidding things from him for no good reason. She rejected with in a cruel way thinking it is for the best. I guess she has not learnt her lesson yet.

Her reaction was flat and unrealistic. So far I think they both better go back with their ex. Especially ML. His ex is not so bad, as a person.
