So basically the Cho Tae Seob he will punish in this life is not th eone who had him killed in his other life. Presumably he is dead in his other life?...

I have Reset on my watchlist but never took the time to watch it.
I never read manhwa so a drama based on one is always "the" version of the story for me.
ML started to change things already. In his initial life, he learnt his parents died because someone called him. Now he is trying to save them. So things have changed no matter his parents die or not. It is a different life, different people And of course a different villain.
But ok, maybe things will be clearer with the next eps.

In Mr. Queen, the main guy falls and ends in an hospital and his soul is transferred into the body of a queen back in time who felt into a pond. Then he lives some adventures and then he recover his body and life back. The story loops.
But here, I am really asking myself how it will loop... I have not read the manhwa either. Maybe I should spoil myself this part?

In a fantasy thriller there are elements that you can admit and it creates a logic. Like a tunnel or a cliff as time travel portal (Tunnel / 365 Repeat the year), Or an accident to change from a reality to another ( Welcome 2 life). The layers created by the time jump orthe change of reality have a connection. This connection is what makes the plotline complex and interesting.
Here, he is sent back in his own body 10 years earlier to change his life and the bad guy he will catch is not the bad guy who killed him. I cannot see how the part of him as an adult and a killed prosecutor can loop with the new younger him trying to change his life.
Ep 1 is not really what I expected. First part has grotesque characters, usual corruption, justice fighter clichés…
His mind is sent back in his younger self, 10 years before? So he is back in the time with the experience and knowledge of his prosecutor self to change his life? That's cheating.
Basically he is living a different life. He could become a banker or a fisherman, what the use to chase after Cho Tae Seob who is not the Cho Tae Seob who had him killed anyway. Where is the body of himself as a prosecutor?
A bit weird of a plotline but I will keep watching. Maybe there is a logic behind this?
Ep 1 is not really what I expected. First part has grotesque characters, usual corruption, justice fighter clichés and the music is really too loud trying to impress too much. Second part is better with more interesting characters and it has more emotions but the plotline is very questionable. Will try a few more eps

But maybe I will be surprised...
