You can have your little crusade against the white savior trying to save Africa. It is not my point here. I am just saying the drama is telling about a problem in Africa and people would not see it as a way to look down on Africa but to learn about a specific problem of access to drinkable water and maybe they would help like the male lead is helping or they could just send money to fund the drilling of wells.

Poor kid. If anyone on this planet had no right to talk about another place of the planet but his own, everybody would have to stay silent and you would have no right to even talk to me. Grow up a litlle will you?

I did not say Africa does not have water. I said it has issues with access to drinkable water and that it is a worldwide issue but it particularly exists in Africa.

In the world, the worst situation is in Africa. Nine out of ten countries with the worst situation are African countries. The fact that there are better situations or worse situations does not change the truth.

Some people have been outraged that this drama tells this truth. Well it is the truth about Africa. Worse, they accuse the drama of using this to perpetuate a sterotyped vision of Africa when the drama just brough that matter to the attention of people.

How many people here knew that Africa is plagued by this issue of access to drinkable water and Africa has the most dead people because of drinking unsafe water? Well now they know. These outraged people, they should thank this drama for that because now more people know and hopefully it will inspire people to help just like the ML did in the drama.

The blind ones are the ones who do not want to see the truth and take a fake stance to save their face.

In Africa, there is places better than the imagery we see in this drama and there are places where it is much much worse. Why are you so triggered? Because a drama chose to set the scenes of someone volunteering to drill a well in Africa because Africa has the worst situation in the world in term of issue of access to drinkable water? You don't like that this reality is showed or do you think people are so stupid they would not be able to understand that it is one situation among thousands and thousands of situation in Africa some better some worse?

You are just taking a fake outraged stance and seriously you are not helping the image of Africa and africans yourself.

I suspect something happened between them back in their college time. It looks like the FL has a heavy heart because of this guy. But ok, we will see...

I was surprised because the part of their original encounter was messy. I though they would meet as part of their job. This "acqaintance since college" is a little bit annoying because it questions the nature of the feelings they had since for each other. But ok, let's see how they are taking us to.

I could not care less what you think about me. Just remember that 9 out of the 10 countries in the world with the biggest issue of access to drinkable water are African countries and as an african, you should talk less nonsense and go help them instead with your bottle of water like you said would. Thank you for helping them.

I never said only Africa that is struggling with access to drinkable water. Go read my comments and you will see I always said it is a problem around the world and in particular in Africa.

Because the drama set the scene in Africa and not in Asia or in Middle East or elsewhere with the same issue of drinkable water, you are not happy. You would have been fine if they set the scene elsewhere. Why they chose Africa? Maybe because the top 10 countries with access to water issues NINE ARE africans: Mozambique, Niger, Chad, DR or Congo, Angola, Somalia, Ethiopia, Uganda, Erythrea.

Maybe you should just acknowledge the problem and be thankful to the drama to bring this matter to the conscience of people watching. Don"t be too ready to think that they will look down on Africa. Maybe they are better people than you think.

You know my phone operator told me I can call North America for free. Is he taking North America as a country? If a pilot says he is flying to South America is he taking South America as a country? If my friend is in Africa and I say he is in Africa, do I take Africa as a country? If he travels in Guinea and I don't remember if it is Guinea Bissau or Equatorial Guinea and I just say Africa, am I taking Africa as a country?

Yes people who live in Africa all live in a same place called the African continent.

Where did they portray Africa as a country?

You would? Woah.. are you acknowledging that there is an access to drinkable water issue in Africa and you are ready to help with one bottle of water? Cool! Thank you for your generosity.

There is access to drinkable water issues around the world and in particular in Africa. Are you butthurt that they chose to set the place in Africa and not in Asia or not in the Middle East? Because you don't want to face the truth of that fact in Africa? Well... its a fact.

When an issue concern a majority of african countries, it can be qualified as an african issue with its specific african ins and outs. Are you triggered that this drama uses this issue as a background? Still it is a reality in Africa.

Maybe they can tell you some truth about your own country or continent and maybe you can help your african people.

You can keep your opinion you made sitting on your sofa. Right now, in Africa, there are people struggling to find drinkable water. There are african and non african organizations to help in particular by drilling wells like in the drama so that people men, women, children have water to drink. If this drama or anyone or anything can bring this matter to the world and people around the world would help with one or two of a hundred more wells, it is already a good thing and it helps.

Of course, you will not be among these people to help. Because for you, the problem does not even exist. You are entitled to your opinion and I will leave you with it. Goodbye.
