Lee Hyun is the son of the brother of former CP now King Hyejong and father of Lee Hwi. Probably Lee Hyun's father was not the first son but the second one. This is why Lee Hwi's father was Crown Prince and now that he is King, the CP tiltle went to Lee Hwi. If Lee Hwi becomes King and cannot have an heir, the CP title should go to the Prince Je Hyun. I think your statement is misleading. Love is an alchemy which makes you feel attached to someone for the package of what this person is including his/her gender. Maybe he has been given a modern approach but I don't think the whole audience has been given a modern approach. The audience is composed of an important part of ajhummas with who will not easily accept a modern description of sexual orientations and I doubt the drama is here to give them lessons.

Personally, I think that Ji Woon and Dam-i are heteroxesual. This is why they fell in love with each other when they were teens and they are each other's first love. I don't believe that they are bisexual and they will make their coming out or they are non binary or gender fluid or pansexual "as long as we are happy".

The story is about gender bender. I doubt the audience will really like a final twist telling them "Hey, surprise, it was not gender bender because they had no gender to start with". Maybe there are people who would like this drama to be a lesson for everyone about modern sexualities but I doubt it will be the case.

And by the way, there are things that only a woman do and not a man : menstruations, deliver a baby... A woman who became a man or not and delivers a baby from her original or a transplanted uterus is still biologically a woman. A man who has managed to deliver a baby because he received a greft of a functional uterus... I don't think this man exists.

Yes the twin thing is a dot. The fact that CP ressembles the maid is a dot. The fact that the young CP knew Dam-i and gave him back the dices is a dot. Asian societies are still patriarchal on many aspects and one is the adopted children. Even if there is no difference for the adoptive parents, for the ones around them and even the close relatives, it is something they could question at some point as blood is thicker than water. I guess the drama is trying to tell that it should not be a reason to be prejudiced against people.

He is the father so they will probably give him redemption but for me it will not change the poor opinion I have about him. Curious to see what stand he is going to take now.

I understand you. It is really a lot of crazy people and evil schemes to stomach specially in the last ep. I would do like you if I could but I am afraid I will watch the next ep as soon as it is available.

Moo Hak's family is a mess because of the father. The guy has been doing nothing right since a while. I totally understand Moo Hak when he says he is running out of patience with him. He can forgive his family to be harsh to him for an unjust reason but he should not tolerate them to be harsh to the ones he loves for an unjust reason.

It is true they are not officially together so it would not be a real break up but it would still be a step back in the building of their relationship. It looks like everything is against them and Moo Hak is devoid of support now since Won Tak is off picture and he is now estranged with his own family. Can't wait to see how they will turn the table.

These crazy lunatics and manipulative people are just terrible human beings. I want the bad guys to fall hard in the end but also these dumb people should not have an happy ending.

Because he is a manipulative pervert who loves to play with her like a sadistic kid plays with a butterly. The guy broke up with her the worst way possible because he could not stomach that she is an adopted daughter. But he still thought he would get her back. He married and divorced but when her father died and she came back, he decided to make her his thing again. He has absolutely no love for her. He is an obsessed possessive freak. He doesn't want to be together with her. He wants to own her.

How many time they had to redo the painting. I lost count.

Many people voiced their disappointment in the middle of the drama already and they were just waiting to see if the ending would save it overall. It did not.

They mishandled the script. The Gisaeng just vanished in bubbles and Prince Joo Hyang is free and fighting for his ambition but he should be dead because the demon left an injury on his body which should have killed him already.

The fact that they did not close the arc of narration of Prince Joo Hyang the evil guy is just a big flaw of the drama.
