The tone of the drama is quite dark and people will keep dropping like flies. If there is happy ending I will just ship Lee Hwi with Ji Woon. I fear the worst for Hyun and Ga On even with a happy ending.

As for the two other young woman, Noh Ha Kyung looks more proper and Shin So Eun looks reckless. Both are propably doomed to be in a one sided love.

Good to see Chae Yeon after My first first love.

Yes probably she is just a spoiled rich daughter looking for some excitement. I won't wish her bad things after all.

I will check his other works after this drama. But there is nothing cringe in his acting. For me bad acting is when the actor cannot act at all and is just being himself in every drama like Lin Min Ho. Or when his face has little expressions and his eyes tell nothing like Cha Eun Woo. Or when the physical acting is weird and exagerated to an unwanted grotesque or is "misplaced" like Johnny Depp in Mortdecai.

Here the range of expressions of the lead actor is good. From happy, charming, sad, angry to complete desperation... he conveys his emotions properly. I have seen worse. I find the character interesting and endearing and I am not "disconnected" from this character because of errors of acting so for me the actor is doing is job well.

She threatened Ji Woon's girl friend Young Ji to brand her. She said she apologized when she did not. I don't rate her as a very good person since she also caused her dad to attack Ji Woon. So if she ends up tragically... Then so be it :P

The best one today was "'I went to clean barbecue grilling pans" . But ok, it allowed us to see him grab her hand.

The twin brother is dead and buried. His return would impair the story of his twin sister. I want Ga On to be a special guy. One with a background that no one suspects and contributes greatly to the story.

These schemes using gratuitous violence against innocent people are really irksome. I wish there was less of these tropes. I can't wait for the day the Left State Concilor and his dog both go to hell but too bad they are going to hurt a lot of people before they do.

If he was educated in Joseon with the rules of his family and of the palace, he would not have this way of behaving towards authority. Even with the other tutors he doesn't look very respectful. Also he used his guard friend to sneak into the palace and he went to chit chat with the maids in their quarters when they are doing their toiletery. Or that moment when he pushed aside the veil to see Shin So Eun's face against the rules of propriety.

Yes probably he is curious that the CP looks like the maid he met but I am sure he would not behave differently in his way of talking and teaching to the CP if it was not the case. It is because of his boldness that he will find the truth.

To me, Lee Hyun looks totally smitten by Lee Hwi. Ji Un likes the court maid he met in the forest this is why he looked for her in the palace. When he will know it is her, the three of them will be in a love triangle. I am confident Lee Hyun will stay on her side but I hope he will find a way to get out of the situation unscathed.

Maybe when he knows the CP is the Dam-i he met when young, he will become nicer to her but so far he is dealing with a CP who is cold and self centered. He has to defy his way of thinking and behaving in order to teach him.

Terrible ending for me.

Love in the Moonlight and Sungkyunkwan Scandal are great and have cross dressing too. There are also The Moon That Embraces the Sun and Empress Ki. Empress is long with heavy themes though. I dropped Rookie historian and 100 days my Prince but you can try them as they were quite successful too.

He likes her as a woman. It is obvious. He would not buy a ring for his sister. The way he reacted towards the bad uncle shows he can become emotional and angry because of his feelings for Lee Hwi. He would be more reserved if it was only a brotherly love.

He is supposed to be like that. He has been independent for 10 years studying in Ming. He came back to do the job he wants to do. He does not obey the authority of his father and doesn't want to work for his family. He became tutor because he was forced to. It is good that he does not change his rogue ways to respect the rules with the Crown Prince or he would be a boring person.

I feel you. I dropped Doom at your service and My Roommate is a Gumiho. I am just keeping watching Lovers of the Red Sky for the leads. This one? I like it so far. It is promising but it is 20 eps and it has quite a dark tone... Fingers crossed it keeps being good until the end.
