The comedy is almost drown into the illogical and outrageous schemes. FL and Sheng Family and the Princess XinNan are the fun part and their part is too small.

This was not the story of Fu Rou and Chu Mu. It was the story of the Imperial family. How they scheme against each other while being manipulated by a hidden vilain and how they reconcile and are saved by their two employees of the month Fu Ru and Chu Mu.

But he is not so clean himself. He was ploting for his own interest like all the other Kings. His mother dragged him into the side of the bad guys and even if he did not kill his father, he would have, if his mom did not tell him they will make him the scapegoat of the crime.

The moment with the three Kings fighting to save their father was kind of ridiculous to me...

Zifang got away with it too easily. He colluded with Fu Shui and that lead to many unnecessary deaths.

He has been trying since day one...

Yan Zifang you nasty little bastar! I hope you die an horrible death. lol. Why not by the hands of Ying Ying.

Edit: OMG, he sided with the bad guys and caused directly and indirectly many deaths but he still got away with his wrongdoings and even got took Ying Ying with him...

Yes it's blatant. The shift of time or skip of scenes looks obvious. But it is ok the drama is a complete mess already anyway...

I have a lot of affection for this drama althought I think the endind is mishandled. Not everyone can adhere to this drama as it is quite special but it is fine. So many drama to enjoy out there.

In Cyrano, the handsome but poor mind Christian and the ugly but bright man Cyrano agree to create the perfect man by combining their qualities. Roxanne falls in love with that perfect man. She loved this man once and she lost him twice.

In this Drama, Dal Mi has to choose between two men. The real Do San that she newly met. And the 12years old Do San from the letters that she extrapolated into a perfect fictional first love. HJP is nowhere in her equation. This is why when he told her he wrote the letters, she did not even bother.

For someone who only watched 4 eps, you seem still very frustrated about this drama. You created your own frustration. HJP was not the great kid you thought he was. You were blinded by his poor background and you turned your eyes aways from his wrongdoings. He was not a great kid and not the ML. He was always the SML.

Weird storyline. What is he gonna say? "Jack it's me Joe, the guy you killed in another life of mine! Look I am your son now." ?

This writer wrote a drama where the second male lead has the whole first episode and more but he is still SML and the ML appears inthe second ep. Still, the SML was SML and the ML was the ML. You just let yourself be tricked by the SML's sad background as a kid. You chose your side from the outset knowing he was the SML and you thought there will surely be a twist where the SML wins the race and kisses the princess in the end.

You have the right to your opinion regarding the SML or the ML. But I think your choice made you see this drama from a wrong perspective and apparently with some bias too. But it's ok. Plenty of drama out there to recover from this one.

The worst thing is that he is patting her like good older brother but his is full of not so brother intentions. Sick man!

Touching her hand, wrist, hairs, like he is her boyfriend... And she doesn't even react. I don't know if grown up brothers and sisters usually do that in China but for me the guy is just a freak.

It's just my own assumption about an actor and a public figure regarding his career. I don't get why some people need to make it personal when it was not even about them personally. Everyone is entitled to his own opinion and has the right to express it.

KSH did a tremendous job on this drama but it is also true that he was born to portray this character. Someone distant, cold and unapproachable. He barely becomes a warm person towards the end. He is a good and reliable actor but for me he lacks the versatility and the nuances of facial expressions that great actors have to portray a cute romantic funny lover, a crazy guy or evil guy or a serial killer.

HJP was a really good job from him but I don't trust his career can be big only with the acting skills he demonstrated in the works I have seen from him. But maybe he will prove me wrong.

Ep10. It is so bad that it is good.

Weird that Ryan Ren is in this drama when he was the lead in Sweet first love which has kind of a same plot. I really did not like his charcater in that drama. I am glad to see Zhang Ling He. He was great in Maiden Holmes and his acting skills are pretty good plus he has a nice aura. I don't really like school coming of age dramas anymore but I'll try this one.

The love triangle is between Dal Mi, Real Do San and Fake Do San in dal Mi's memories and imaginary. HJP is just a third wheel.

Writer made SML too endearing in the first ep. Many fans cheered for him because of that ep 1 and they would not deviate from this. This was not supposed to happen.

You got it all wrong. HJP is the second male lead written like a male lead who is supposed to have risen from his poor background to become a self made man so bright and smart he should win the FL. NDS was supposed to be the perfect kid but he is misunderstood and he grows as a nerd and a failure but in the end... he still gets the girl.

In this drama, the good guy is not the guy you think he is. lol. The poor guy gets the girl, marries her and lives happy with his friends . The great guy? who cares?

You think HJP was so good to grandma? After all these years he never invited her to his home. She invited herself to tell him to fck off and stop thinklng about repaying her kindness as kindness is not to be repaid it to be relayed. HJP, what an idiot . lol.

Do you even realize there is no letters from HJP to Dal Mi? Do you even understand that the letters from fake Do San to Dalmi had have no screentime at all because they do not matter at all for Dal Mi? People like you have just understood nothing about this drama.

He will not become a huge star because of this. SML role. Mark my words.
