The mom of the FL who disappeared after killing the ML's mother and was deemed dead is not dead. She was working…
FL's mom was a complete psycho to kill the ML's and his brother's mother because that one said a word about her daughter (young FL) that she (the mother) did not like. I enjoyed all the mystery and uncertainty and all the hypothesis based on testimonies and memories of people who were not 100% reliable.

My problem with the final truth is that they said FL's mom was always possessive of her daughter. We see it in the drama. So why she lived 20 years without news of her? Why she revealed herself suddenly and went bersek? Most of the audience did not understand. They could not accept that.

Truth is the mother stalked her daughter even before she met Gang Tae (ML) as an adult. She was in that hospital where her daughter Moon Young was presenting her latest book and she killed the poor guy who attacked her daughter after she picked a knife on the floor. (Coincidentally the one her daughter stole from a restaurant). They should have weighted on that and explained better in the flashbacks that the mother never really disappeared from her daughter's life. The audience would have better accepted that she reappeared to hang on her "creation".

Can someone tell me what the plot twist was in IOTNBO? I dropped it at like ep 5 or something and now I'm curious…
The mom of the FL who disappeared after killing the ML's mother and was deemed dead is not dead. She was working in an clinic for lunatics where her husband was a patient and where ML and FL are working. She turns against the ML and his bro because the FL is her daughter and her creation that she does not want to loose to them.

The idea is not bad. It is just badly told when the rest of the story was really well told.

I think their chemistry will build up more as the story goes.
Yes it is better now op12 but I don't really like the girl's way to treat people. :D

I think that because her dream? Her groom its him.
Her dreams make the plot messy. ML and FL are on two different quests.

So far ep12, it is entertaining. I like the plot around the ML and all the supporting characters who make the drama funny: the brother, the two maids, the sidekick of the ML, Shi Jun, the Xie daughter who likes cooking... In fact the character I like the less is the FL. Granted she has a strong personality but she is also rude and taunting people for no reason. I hope she will have some character development.

Anything you want. One month after the end of the drama, I am done debating with HJP fans. I am just stating my own personal opinion on this drama in its comment section. You are entitled to yours. Goodbye you little rabbit born today on January 20, 2021.

I don't understand the fuss about Han Ji Pyeong. Honestly, his behaviour annoys me through the show. There isn't…
NDS is an imperfect guy but he is a normal guy. He loves his family and friends and cares about them tries to mend things. He does his best with his qualities and flaws. He does not evolve a lot. He only changes as much as a 3 years experience abroad allows him. It means his personality is the same. Just his professional assurance and his experiences are better. I like him for not being transformed like Peter Parker biten by a super enhanced spider.

For me NDS above HJP everyday.

Han Ji Pyeong is, for the most part, a weak and poor guy hidden behind the facade of a strong and smart guy. Many people in the audience loved him unconditionnally for his flayed personnality behind the face of a self made man. But if people look at him storywise and see him and his actions with the eyes of the others characters, he is not likeable at all. Because he is all pretenses and nothing sincere, sympathetic or professionnal.

He pretends he is a good mentor but he fails at the key moments. He pretends to be close to NDS but he just taunts him. He says he likes Dal Mi but he puts her in the worst situation at the worst time with his"I am so cool" stupid confession. He pretends he likes Grandma but he never gifted her anything, never invited her to his home. He is the tsundere guy who never becomes warm and never wins the girl because he is too selfish and immature for that.

The guy spent the whole time trying to repay the kindness of Grandma just to learn from Grandma in the end that you don't repay the kindness given to you. You replicate that kindness towards others. What an idiot.

It's not only her. Her husband also. They were both in the plan to use two surrogate mothers. Why two? To have more chances of one surviving? They both looked at it like the wrong way. No wonder it went sour.

Damn she's hot still
I am shocked by the news. Just looking at her I would not suspect she could be embroiled in such a terrible story. Personally I think it is sad to marry in secret or have children in secret. It's something happy you should be able to share openly.

I don't think any of her reasons justify her treating jaewon like that esp considering that happened more than…
Her friends don't know they spent 2 months holidays together. They think the girl Jae Won is talking about is a stranger. So possibly she has more secrets she hides from them.

For me when she met Jae Won and she lied to him about her name, it already meant she did not want to be serious. Or she could not. She accepted to play longer the comedy and then agreed to a one month extension because she was happy playing the game but at the end she still would not or could not tell the truth. Still she kept her ring around her neck.

I hope she has a good reason for going to this extent.

So far ep4, the ML is an interesting guy. There are flashbacks about him to explain his background and give depth to his present actions. The things he does takes place in a bigger plot and there are tips about the rivalries and dangers against him. On the contrary, the FL is a bratty hot headed girl and there is not so much depth to her character. I don't see a good reason why she approaches the ML and she is unaware of important things around her. It is like she is just playing around so the chemistry is hardly here for me. I guess I will have to try some more eps.

I did not notice the formal attire... but I am wondering what professional reason would cause her not to be able to be honest with Jae Won? There is always a way to explain professional reasons. It cannot be related to him or his company.

She was so happily enjoying herself during their summer together but I keep in mind that she lied about her identity and she absolutely planned to break up after their first night. So she had one good reason to do it before knowing he is her best friends'acquaintance. I don't buy that excuse she told.

For a year, she also did not let go when she was stalking him and seeing him in such a sad situation. Why she let it drag for so long when it was so painful for him? Did she have an hope for something? If she cannot go to him when there is no professional issue, no family issue, no friends issue, no (apparent) health issue ... there is another man maybe.

Why she needed to lie about her name? She looked so desperate to not have her name revealed today, it must be related to her past and identity something her friends don't know about.

I came here to say exactly this after episode 9. They keep building it up and drawing it out. She went so far…
Maybe she has a past with someone and she has kids somewhere... Or she is still married and can't divorce for the moment. She treated Jae Won so bad it must be huge. It has to be.
