From Dal Mi perspective 15 years ago these fake letters comforted her. Then she used them to create a fantasized first love to keep guys away. If she really wanted that first love she could have looked for him sooner. No she did not care. Only when her sister went back and she wanted to compete with her she decided to find him. Then she met that guy and she slowly fell in love with him and with his differences to her fantasized love. She lived a real love and it cured her fantasy. The pain of having to let Do San go for his dream definetively put an end to the importance the fake letters have. Now she will just focus on being accomplished professional and mend things with her sister and mother.

If we see these letters from the perspective of each characters they involve and not from the perspective of fans wanting something to happen, the part these letters play in the whole story is just coherent and explain precisely the trajectory of each of the three main characters.

Ji Pyeong purposely avoided them. He failed to do his job as judge and mentor. Why put the blame on SST. They have their own responsibility in what happened but Ji Pyeong did not fulfill his responsibilities. Why after the win he did not go to meet them to congratulate them as mentor? Because he had a guilty conscience and did not want to meet them.

The way things are going probably Do San and Dal Mi will be together in the end so maybe it is a wise decision for you to drop this drama if you can't stand this couple. Why spend time watching something that hurt you? Life is short. It is better to spend time on things you find really enjoyable.

Do San punched Ji Pyeong because the guy was nowhere to be seen since the demo day and he only appeared when it was too late to patronize them and that they can only "blame themselves" for what happened. Is that what a mentor do? Absolutely not. This is what a jerk do so Ji Pyeong totally deserved it. And after this he started to talk better to people so he should thank Do San.

The letters are fake and not important for Dal Mi anymore. She has moved on with her life. She was saddened to learn they were fake but her short love story with Do San made her bury fake Do San and her fantasized ideal first love. The fake letters won't determine her life anymore. She will live the three years of the time jump without worrying about them or asking about them. Maybe one day Grandma will come clean with her about them but it won't be changing anything for her.

Wow... I did not expect that. Some people are just sick in their mind and underhanded in their ways.

Ji Pyeong is just the usual accomplished self made man who cannot express his feelings properly. He is very consistent but also very cliché at the same time.

Do San starts as a nerd but after being contacted by Dal Mi to sell her his baseball ball his character evolves towards success but keeping his natural kindness. He is a more interesting character and he will keep evolving.

I think NJH is doing a great job portraying a very attentive caring nerd so far.

KSH is doing great as a haughty mogul but I think his acting is less versatile. But for that character it is perfect.

I also like Suzy here. It's the first time I find her consistently convincing.

Their life depends on it to the point they would threaten people who disagree with their salty comments.

He was not there on the demo day. He was on leave the next day and not available. Why they would reach for someone not available?

The mentor was on sick leave and when he knew about the situation it was too late already. But like he said, it was not a bad deal for SST. They leave Sa Ha and Dal Mi for him to pursue and they leave to the USA to become bigger for a good price. So yes, for HJP it is all good. lol.

Hey why do you think HJP was so mortitfied by the Yong San's attack on him about his brother he had to hide on Demo day? Because of course he, HJP, went out of line when questioning Yong San's brother and especially when he accused him of fraud and drove the investors away when there was no fraud, just ignorance and incompetence.
