I want to elaborate on my thoughts about Ji Pyung's upcoming personal growth arc.I'm not trying to paint Ji Pyung…
It is true that Sand box is a place to help Start ups to grow and the mentors have to tell them their truth so they can find succeed. But Ji Pyeong is not the perfect guy. He can do right and he can do wrong.
When he told to the SST boys he would not risk his achievement rate for them without knowing the details of their company he was wrong. When he mocked their business plan without seeing it and without considering their demo, he was wrong. He acknowledged himself he was wrong when he told them they will never be successful but they won CODA and Demoday.
HJP was wrong when he told to Yong San's brother he was doing fraud because the guy was a CEO not up to date on the projection of use of batteries. That is not fraud. It is just ignorance and incompetence. And HJP rated him based on that. That was wrong.
But HJP did right when he triggered Dal Mi to act like a CEO and make a decision for the Shareholders' list.
HJP doesn't really need to grow for me. He just has to consider the people and their feelingsa tlittle bi tmore and not only think that he is a mogul so he is right all the time.
Hjp don't even think he has a chance and as a viewer I know it makes no sense for dalmi to magically have feelings…
HJP purposely gave Dal Mi's scrunchy to Do san to send him a message that he is also interested in Dal Mi. After he confessed to Dal Mi he went to brag about it to Do San and told him they won't be "brothers" anymore. So he has made his statement of intent. Do San does not really care about HJP's sneaky attitude. He prefers to focus on his relationship with Dal Mi. If she chooses him it is great. If not, he will accept it. He just doesn't want to pressure her. So HJP can be competition or not, he prefers to focus on the market.
In fact, the problem is HJP. The guy does'nt really know where he stands. He likes Dal Mi enough to confess to her out of the blue but he doesn't like her enough to actively pursue her even if he went to tell her bf and declared war. He is hesitant to send private messages to her but he can take over the role of coach to see her. When she brings him the soup, he clearly rushes out to try to see her. So he likes her but it is like he knows he is going nowhere with these feelings.
Majority of the iotnbo comments were about how good the drama is and analysis of each characters...Here it's about…
Flower of evil presents mental issues in a more realistic way and I enjoyed it. Loved the male lead mental issues but also the villain was great. But I thought the Timburtonesque style in IOTNBO was very unique for a kdrama. I loved it even if I agree the revealation about the mother was weak.
Thank you for tip on the ending of hospital Playlist. I'll give it a try!
Have you noticed that their mentor went missing on the Demo day? He did not even show up on the most important…
No you are wrong. The role of a mentor or of a coach is never to wait for your mentee or coachee to come look for you first. You thinking that means you were never a coach or a mentor.
