In South Korea it is different. There is tradition, culture and rules an obligations they have to comply with. Even before the wedding if the birthday dates don't match or the parents are not happy with it, probably, it is already the end.

HJP is a typical man of kdrama who is successful and rich and leading and a boss harsh with his words but weak inside. And the typical woman in kdrama for him is the good housewife who deal with all the matters of the household. lol. It's cliché but it has his part of reality in the Korean society.

I don' t say that career oriented woman cannot handle a good household. I am just saying for HJP, he would be better for him to not choose a career oriented woman. Because he is career oriented and he would not share the burden of the household.

You are right, he seems to have a lot of leisure time. But in reality, Partners and Directors of his level rarely have time to play like he does. I believe in a couple, one has to put priority on the family. It is especially true in a society like South Korea where around 50% of korean women unemployed left their job for family reason and 20 % of them quit to marry. South Korean women have a different vision of family life relation with the husband. They are a bit more "traditional" with many rules to comply with compared to Europe or the USA.

HJP can support is wife and make sure to build a strong healthy family like he never had.

After all the development between Dal Mi and Do San and the skinship it would not be understandable. HJP and Dal Mi have not showed a glimpse of romantic moment between them. Even at the end of ep10 , HJP made a confession sounding like a renunciation. If the writer turned the table now, it would not be accepted by the fans. Probably everyone from the director, writer to the actors would be bashed.

Don't you remember I told you that if you do not have what it needs to take what some people write here without making things personal, you should just block these people. I think he needs someone like Grandma to babysit him. Someone who is not afraid of him showing a tantrum for nothing and give him shoes or an umbrella when he needs them. Because he is not able to demonstrate affection other than being harsh to people, he needs someone who can demonstrate love by being very nice.

Career oriented woman would be ok but she would still need to let HJP dominate the discussion and lead the way because it is his personality. He is super assertive. Not everyone can accept that. Not only she would need to accept that, she would need to enjoy that. To love that personality.

Real career woman would have difficulties doing all this as they are likely to be like that too. Being a CEO is not easy and requires lots of sacrifices. It is a 24/7 job and 90% of seniors leaders burn out. So for his own sake, HJP should really go look for a nice housewife to give him the warmth he never received.

Why you call this misogynistic? Not all the women wants to be CEO. Dal Mi wants to be one like In Jae and that's great. But some just want to be housewife like Dal Mi's mother and have happy family. What is wrong with that. Everybody does not need to have the same dream.

So since there are girls who want to be Housewifes, Ji Pyeong should go for one of them. Because he never had the warmth of a family and never had real family meals. The time with Grandma was better but it was still not like having a complete family.

So thinking about him and that he deserves to know this, I think he should go for a pretty, patient and understanding housewife who will tolerate his prickly, hauty, harsh personality and his hot temper behind his smile. Perfect deal for him and for her.

Probably but HJP should not go for In Jae. He needs a good housewife who will do nice homecooked meals for him and kiss him on the check when he leaves for work.

Saying that Do San suits Dal Mi better than HJP would mean somewhere if Do San was out of the picture, HJP could be an option for her. I believe he is not.

People have different personalities and you might be more compatible with certain person. But the fact that in a life, people barely meet 2 or 3 people they really think are their soulmate among the hundreds they can meet, it means that compatibility is not that easy to find.

I did not say NDS is the only one made for her but I do believe he is made for her. There are people who are made for each other so logically, there are some who are not made for each other.

I think HJP is the one who has been sealing his feelings inside for years since orphanage. This is why he is unable to deal with them properly. He is unable to be clear on what feelings he has for people and how to behave accordingly without fear of being hurt. This is why he behaves like a friend to Do San sometimes but he also says he does not like him. He likes Grandma but he doesn't show affection to her or doesn't do things with her. He is going to regret it when he knows she is becoming blind. He likes Dal Mi but he has been denying it and now his confession is more a way to keep her away than to make her closer. The guy can't open himself to people and deal with them genuinely.

NDS cries a lot. He cries too much. But it means he is not afraid of facing his own feelings and the good thing about him is that he tries his best to find a solution and improves things. After a good fight with Yong San and Chul San about the shareholders's list, he finds words to convince them to believe in Dal Mi. After a good cry he finds the words and the way to mend things with his father. Because he is a people oriented person and he believes addressing people's happiness and needs is the key to being happy and successful. At least, it is what keeps him happy and moving in his work. This is why he says his success is a person.

HJP looks strong outside but he is weak inside. Do San looks weak outside but in fact he is the stronger of the two.

HJP and In Jae are both business oriented people and cold personalities. I can hardly see them as a couple. In fact HJP needs a female version of NDS . And since there is no female version of NDS, he should go for Sa Ha. She is prickly on the outside but deep inside she is cool, sensible and understanding of human feelings as she likes to make bets them.

Grandma has good intentions but she hurt Dal Mi and she knows it. Why did it take her 15 years to see she was wrong? Grandma should have told Dal Mi long ago. When she reached 16. Dal Mi was old enough to understand her reasons and she could have had a "normal" love life as a teen and as a young woman.

Grandma should have found a way to tell her at the seashore or soon after since Dal Mi acknowleged she likes Do San. But no, she had the worst decision. She went to ask HJP to keep the lie so Dal Mi can be put in the dark even more to preserve her "happiness". Unbelievable how she can say one thing (she hurt her) and do another thing (keep on hurting her). This is almost evil.

Now she knows Dal Mi is aware of the scheme of the fake letters but she still won't come clean. But ok, they are famlily...

No, Dal Mi acknowledged to grandma she likes the real Do San. She has grown into liking him and his differences to fake Do San.

NDS or NJP both have their qualities and flaws but NJP does not have a chance. Because he is not the kind of man she likes. She will respect him for his knowledge, his competences, his cool, his helping hand... but she does not like guys who talk rude and harsh like he does, who can't stop ordering people around and look down on people even for their own good. She doesn't like people who yell at others because they have been misunderstood or they misunderstood.

Some girls like these kind of men who yell at them because they can't acknowledge their own mistake and they can't say sorry because they are so proud but sentimantal deep inside and these girls would accept their behavior. Dal Mi is not this klnd of girl. No, that's not the kind of man she likes. She is not a patient girl. Remember she yelled at her sister and grabbed her hairs and fought with her? She is better suited with a patient, understanding and caring guy like NDS.

We have to admit in drama like in real like, they are people who are just not made for you. And sometime you pay a heavy price to know it. NDS is made for Dal Mi. HJP is not. HJP must find a girl who will complete his qualities and flaws. And that girl is not Dal Mi.

HJP is an immature person who can't deal properly with his own feelings and has not enough empathy to be respectful and considerate. This is why he is alone in his life. Do you know why after confessing to Dal Mi and teasing Do San with it, he went to drink alone and talk to an unknwon woman? Because he is a jerk and has no friends or even a drinking buddy. He could not even ask a colleague from work to go drink with him.

HJP is a successful and rich man and someone who leads the way. He is a gem for gold diggers and wanna be rich housewife like Dal Mi's mother. For girls like Dal Mi who are also leaders and want to build their own success, he is just a sum of knowledge and a mentor. In his heart, HJP as nothing to give to people. He is just waiting for someone to come hug him like the poor orphan he still is in his head. He will find this person. But it is not Dal Mi.

You should go tell this to the two ones who have been lying for 15 years and are still lying. Without them, nobody would be in such a mess. At least now, things are clean between NDS and Dal Mi. Grandma and HJP can keep their lies, I don't really care.

As a child HJP never had any love of affection for her. HJP shippers can't admit that the fantasized first love of Dal Mi is fake NDS that HJP and Grandma invented and they will not admit it even if Grandma and Ji Pyeong came to tell it to their face. HJP shippers say they know better because they can read between their lines. How deluded.

Maybe you think NDS is not meant for SDM but they will end up together. They have the most compatible personalities. NDS said he loves her and she acknowledged to Grandma she loves him. They will just take the time to mend their relationship.
